FREE to GIRLS 8 to 12 yrs old as seen on Oprah

If you are a female mentor and you are ready to help the girl in your life identify and widen her view of beauty, bring her to the “real beauty workshop for girls”. This interactive session will shed light on how “ideal” images of beauty have the ability to affect how we see ourselves and our bodies opening up healthy dialog about self-esteem.

Let your kids experience a structured but fun camp that lets them get a taste of all the types of recreation and sports that NOR has to offer!

This 5 day camp will feature many different types of games,recreation activities, and summer sports (G.R.A.S.S.) for your children. Activities will include but are not limited to: Dance, Gymnastics, Rock Climbing, Basketball, Soccer, Disc Golf, Softball, Art, and Science. Children will have the opportunity to choose between different options every day, making the camp experience unique to them. Space is limited to first 40 participants, so register early!

for 3-5 year olds

Your little one will learn about Science and Nature in this fun filled 4 week class for kids ages 3-5. Every week, they’ll explore a different topic and create “science projects” related to the topic.

Does your little one love to hunt bugs in the yard? Are they fascinated by the world around them? Then give them a thrill with our “I love bugs” class. In this 4 week class for 3-5 year olds, they’ll learn and play while studying a new bug each week like dragon flies, lady bugs and spiders. They’ll create crafts and play games - all with a bug theme.

Fun with Dinosaurs

for 3-5 year olds Your little explorers will “dig in” to the world of dinosaurs. They’ll learn about a new dinosaur every week. There will be several class projects as well, including a volcano, and a dinosaur dig!

Tot Basketball for Boys & Girls 3-6 years old

Your tot will learn how to play basketball in a FUN, non‐threatening environment!

This instructional program teaches children a variety of basketball skills including: dribbling/ball handling, shooting, passing/catching, and running/agility. Teamwork is emphasized in this program. Parent participation is highly encouraged. Space is limited as this program fills up quickly. Birth certificate required when registering.

Classes for healing by A hands-on adventure in rock climbing. You learn tying knots, climbing commands and signals. Ages 6 and up. Each week you climb in Riverview's own specialized climbing gym, featuring 16 foot high walls with overhangs, cracks, pockets, edges, pinches, underclings, and slopers.

Ballroom Dance Beginning I: Primary figures of six basic dances: Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Rumba, Swing, and Cha Cha. Mondays, 8 - 9pm or Wednesdays, 8:30 to 9:25pm Ballroom Dance Beginning II: Concentrates on one dance per session, building on the material presented in Beginning I. In addition to the dances listed previously, learn Samba, Polka, Hustle, Nite Club Two Step, and more. Mondays, 6:45 - 7:45pm East Coast Swing (A.K.A. (1 hour) This class is for children 4-6 years old. Fundamentals of gymnastics are taught. Classes include: balance beam, floor, rings, and games. [4 separate classes]

Girls Level One:

(1 hour) This class is for children 6-10 years of age. This is a beginners class. Children are taught the fundamentals of gymnastics and are working on their way to level two. Class includes: bars, floor, vault, and balance beam. [3 separate classes]

Girls Level Two:

(1 hour) This class is for children 6-12 years old. This is a more advanced class. Level one is needed to advance to level two. Classes include: bars, floor, vault, beam.

Girls/ Boys Level One:

(1 hour) This class is for young boys (610 years old) that want to continue with gymnastics. Kinder gym is encouraged, but not a requirement. Class includes: vault, rings, floor, and bars. [2 separate classes] Tuesday 6-7pm, Thursday 6-7pm

Tumbling Level One:

(1 hour) Ages: 6-10. This class is designed for children that want to learn how to tumble but do not want to learn everything about gymnastics. (This is a good class for beginning cheer). Children will learn the fundamentals for tumbling (cartwheels, headstand, forward/ backwards rolls, etc.) [2 separate classes]

Thursday 4-5pm, Saturday 3-4pm

Tumbling Level Two/Three:

Experience the Merry Musical Adventure of “Robin Hood”. Your child will learn stage directions, stage movement, songs and choreography all while having fun and making new friends.
