GRANT LLEWELLYN, MUSIC DIRECTOR

Dear friends, For nearly 16 years, I have had the incredible honor of serving as Music Director of the North Carolina Symphony. It has been my great joy to share inspiring music throughout this state, including here in Chapel Hill — all the while, forming friendships with the musicians of our orchestra, with our guest artists, and with you, our devoted community. In crafting programs for the 2019/20 season — my final as Music Director — I feel sure that NCS will only continue to soar higher. We'll perform ambitious repertoire, reflecting our musicians' ever-growing artistry; and we'll bring remarkable guest soloists and conductors to our stage, confirming the Symphony's excellence today and going forward. PERFORMING BEETHOVEN'S 9TH

This season at Memorial Hall, we celebrate the music that moves us, the artists who bring it to life, and the future of this great orchestra — don’t miss a moment. With deep gratitude, GRANT LLEWELLYN, MUSIC DIRECTOR NORTH CAROLINA SYMPHONY
