Pearl's Magical Day at the Horse Shows

Six-year-old Pearl loved horses more than anything. She dreamed of meeting a horse one day. One morning, her parents surprised her with tickets to the Traverse City Horse Shows. Pearl was so excited!

At Flintfields Horse Park, Pearl saw horses, people, and colorful flags everywhere. Then, a rider on a big horse crossed their path. Pearl felt scared but amazed by the horse's size and strength.

Pearl's family found the "Future Riders' Playground" for children to pretend to be horses. Emily, a kind rider, helped Pearl feel brave. Pearl had fun pretending to be a strong horse, and her parents cheered her on.

They explored the event and saw delicious food trucks. Pearl's favorite vendors waved and said, "Hi, Pearl!" They enjoyed snacks while watching the fantastic competition. Pearl learned about different jumps and clapped for the horses.

At the end of the day, Emily introduced Pearl to her horse, Mira Starbuck Chaser. Pearl fed Mira a carrot and felt her heart race with happiness She couldn't wait for more adventures at the horse shows.

"Can we come back tomorrow?" Pearl asked her parents, her eyes filled with hope.
