2010 Events SHOw CASE legendary bands like the Embers, the Tams, and Band of Oz. Even though it’s not under the boardwalk, friends, families, and children alike head for Raleigh’s Midtown during this 20 week concert series. In its two year existence, the Midtown Beach Music Series has brought back to life that summertime fun, the tradition that has become legendary in the Carolinas. Entering its third season, the Beach Music Series is back and better than ever. With an unparalleled band list, outdoor dance floor, and many memories to be made, mark your calendars now for the 2010 Midtown Music: Beach Music Series. Every Thursday night, beginning on April 15th and continuing through the end of August, the best beach bands in the region will be performing in the Commons from 6-9pm. One thing is for sure; we know that Raleigh loves beach music, because we were born with it in our bones!
