WHAT’S CURRENT COMMUNITY CONVERSATION: RACISM

WELCOME!

LET US KNOW!

Our website has hundreds of archived worship services, stories about the great work God is doing and ways for YOU to Be the Church Everywhere, Every Day.

EMPOWERED TO CONNECT SIMULCAST

The conference features Dr. Karyn Purvis, director of the TCU Institute of Child Development. It is ideal for adoptive and foster parents, those considering adoption or foster care, and those who are serving and supporting others — social workers, agency professionals, church staff, ministry leaders, counselors, therapists and others. April 8 to 9, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., rooms 4206-7.

The conversation will feature best-selling author Jim Wallis and a panel discussion led by Darryl Owens with Pastor Joel and other community leaders. Thursday, April 7, 7 to 8:30 p.m., sanctuary.

This two-day conference is sponsored by Northland’s Adoption and Foster Care Ministry.

Come and explore this timely call for a new conversation — and action — on racism.
