The Parables of Jesus
The talents have been interpreted as being resources — time, money, abilities and so on. What lessons can we learn from the obedient servants about the Kingdom?
The Talents
Read the passage together, and discuss the questions that follow. If you examine the words of Jesus in Scripture, you will find that He was always teaching about His Kingdom. It is no different with this parable.

Last week we focused on the parable of the rich fool. One of the takeaways from that lesson was that we are blessed for others and for the Kingdom, not just for ourselves. How does this parable reinforce that lesson?
