WHAT’S CURRENT! DAVE ROEVER
Special Veterans Day Guest Eight months into his tour of duty in Vietnam, Roever was burned beyond recognition when a phosphorous grenade he was poised to throw exploded in his hand. HOST A CHRISTMAS PARTY
We’re Doing Things a Little ‘Differently’ … This is your opportunity to gather with people you already know so you can invite them to be a part of the story of what Jesus is doing in your life.
On the first Sunday of each November, churches across America and around the world come together around a single goal: to answer God’s call to care for orphans. Northland’s Adoption and Foster Care Ministry will be in The Hub this weekend for “Orphan Sunday” to raise awareness of the many children in need of families, to provide support for families who have adopted or are fostering children, and to build a community that supports one another. Local organizations that provide adoption and foster care services are on hand to answer your questions! The Northland Adoption and Foster Care Ministry meets the third Thursday of each month in the Fellowship Hall at Longwood. This ministry exists to come alongside families that are fostering or have adopted, as well as those considering adopting or becoming foster parents. Experienced families share their joys and struggles, and encourage families that are new to this journey. Learn more in The Hub or at northlandchurch.net/orphans.
Did you miss Becky Hunter’s announcement last weekend? Watch it at northlandchurch. net/neighbors. Sign up in The Hub or use the form in this worship guide.
