---- WELCOME ---Welcome to the first 2018 issue of The Best of Northwest Arkansas Top 10, the home of the lists that you can’t pay to be on. Our engagement rates continue to grow at an amazing rate due to our ever expanding social media network. We currently have the ability to reach our readers instantly via the power of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and others. Through our up-to-date Things to Do list, we can keep you, our readers informed about live music, special events, activities and other happenings throughout Northwest Arkansas. Many residents, newcomers and visitors to the area consult this weekly Things to Do list before making weekend plans.

Wherever we go in NWA, the first question people have about our publication is about how the various Top 10 lists are comprised. While the actual formula must remain proprietary, a very simple explanation is that we use an algorithm that is based on thousands of online reviews, select reader polls and the covert experiences of the NWATravelGuide.com’s street team. You could think of them as mystery shoppers. This three pronged approach is very good at determining the Top 10 in any particular category.

The magazine is free for all to read either online or in print, and while we do accept a limited amount of advertising, in no way does it determine which businesses are included on our category lists. It is our aim to avoid even a hint of impropriety, and this practice establishes our Top 10 magazine as a reliable source for the best of what our Northwest corner of the state has to offer its residents, newcomers and visitors.

You may be sure that if a business is on one of our Top 10 lists, it means that it is one of the very best in its category, and it also means that you should enjoy a first-rate experience. Our lists showoff the best of NWA! We identify for you the best places to eat, play and stay in NWA so that you don’t have to waste your time and money stabbing in the dark. When you’ve had a delightful experience, you’re naturally not only going to frequent that business again and again, but you are also very likely to tell others, helping to spread the word about how wonderful NWA is.

This issue has a brand new ‘At a Glance’ section. The pages in this section highlight, in bullet point fashion complete with links, the five major cities of Northwest Arkansas. Readers can conveniently and quickly click through to the best of what any particular city has to offer.

Thank you so much for your continued support and readership. We have great plans for the Top 10 this new year, and we want you to be a part of it. If you know of a category you would like to read about in upcoming issues, please submit your new category for consideration. All Good Things,

NORTHWEST ARKANSAS Approximately 4 million visitors per year make the trip to Northwest Arkansas, and there are no signs that traffic is slowing down. If you are asking why, you’ve probably never been to this booming area! There are tons of amazing restaurants, things to do and places to stay in Northwest Arkansas. The Northwest corner of Arkansas is home to a number of towns and smaller communities, which together are commonly referred to as Northwest Arkansas or NWA. Bentonville, Bella Vista, Eureka Springs, Fayetteville, Lowell, Rogers, Siloam Springs and Springdale are the cities covered in this recently researched and up-to-date Top 10 NWA Travel Guide. Long known for its natural beauty and clean Ozark Mountain air, Northwest Arkansas has morphed into a cultural and business center rivaling the best in the world. The recently completed 36-mile Razorback Greenway, a primarily offroad trail system, links together six NWA cities and many community destinations including Walmart, J.B. Hunt, and Tyson Foods corporate headquarters. Additionally, the trail system also links to Arts and entertainment districts, historic sites, parks, residential communities and shopping areas. NWA invites its visitors to enjoy: • Awe-inspiring Museums Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, a dazzling, world-class 1.2 billion dollar museum. • Breathtaking Natural and Manmade Wonders Beaver Lake, Ozark Mountains, Hiking & Biking Paradise • Championship Level Cycling Walking & Hiking trails Award-winning bicycle friendly communities, Fayetteville, Rogers, Bentonville
