sales and electric vehicles. “The LEAF remains the icon of Nissan Intelligent Mobility, our strategy for moving more people to a better world.” Since pledging themselves to being a global leader in producing and promoter zero emission vehicles, Nissan have been working with governments and utility companies to help the introduction of EV’s into the modern world. Several initiatives have been created to use LEAF batteries after their life in the car, when they are no longer entirely fit for service, such as portable street lights. So far, the amount of Nissan LEAF’s sold since 2010 is enough to save 3.8 million barrels of oil a year. This means that customers are getting a beautifully refined, tremendously capable electric car and Mr. Polar bear is better off. Nissan will be introducing the new Nissan LEAF to over 12 new markets around the globe in the next year.
