Honda ranked top for customer service
“It is testament to our outstanding dealer network that we have topped the list of volume brands when it comes to customer satisfaction. One of the fundamental beliefs at Honda is developing a relationship with the customer based on mutual trust and this accolade from JD Power just goes to show how evident that is within our dealer network.” - Philip Crossman, Managing Director Honda UK
Honda has ranked highest amongst volume brands when it comes to UK customer satisfaction with vehicle servicing, according to new research. The inaugural JD Power 2015 UK Customer Service Index Study measures customer satisfaction with their experience at franchised dealers’ service departments. The study is a comprehensive analysis of the vehicle service experience and is independently conducted by JD Power in 16 countries worldwide. Honda ranks highest among volume brands in satisfaction with a score of 768. Suzuki and Toyota tied in second with a score of 759, and Kia and Skoda tied in fourth on 758. Previously run in conjunction with What Car? the annual Customer Satisfaction Index Study is now run solely by JD Power. Founded in 1968,
JD Power is a marketing information services firm that conducts surveys of customer satisfaction, product quality and buyer behaviour for industries ranging from cars to marketing and advertising. Philip Crossman, Managing Director at Honda UK, commented: “It is testament to our outstanding dealer network that we have topped the list of volume brands when it comes to customer satisfaction. One of the fundamental beliefs at Honda is developing a relationship with the customer based on mutual trust and this accolade from JD Power just goes to show how evident that is within our dealer network.” Come experience it for yourself at our Honda dealerships. Honda’s Project 2&4 is a combination of global creativity and craftsmanship ‘Honda Project 2&4 powered by RC213V’, the winning entry from Honda’s ‘Global Design Project’, made its global debut at the 66th Frankfurt Motor Show. Embodying the concept of ‘creative craftsmanship’, Honda Project 2&4 celebrates Honda’s position as the world’s leading engine manufacturer, providing engines to 28 million people per year across two- and four-wheel automotive, power equipment, marine and aerospace applications. Its exceptional power unit, developed for the world-class MotoGP motorcycle racing series and specially tuned for the public road, is a 999 cc V-4 four-stroke unit and conforms to Honda’s ‘The Power of Dreams’ guiding philosophy that inspires innovation and originality. Peak power output is over 215 PS at 13,000 rpm, while peak torque of over 118 Nm is delivered at 10,500 rpm. Transmission is provided by a six-speed DCT gearbox.
is part of Honda’s initiative to inspire creativity as one ‘Team Honda’. The objective of the annual contest between Honda design studios is to challenge team and project members to share one goal and achieve high targets. Conceived for immersive driving thrills Drawing on Honda’s racing heritage, the body design and engine position has been inspired by the legendary Honda RA272 of 1965. The structure reveals the core frame and functional parts of the car, much as would be more customary for a bike, and is similarly compact. Overall length is3,040 mm, width1,820 mm and height995 mm. A resulting weight of just405 kg maximises the impact of the power of the midmounted engine which, together with the low centre of gravity, ensures an exceptionally high level of responsiveness. The exhilarating feeling created from the open cockpit is significantly enhanced by the driver’s seat, uniquely suspended just above the road. The ‘floating seat’ design places the driver as close to the action as possible, evoking the freedom of a bike and completing the immersion provided by Honda Project 2&4’s extreme performance, 14,000 rpm red line and unique engineering.
Inspired by the global creativity of one ‘Team Honda’ Over 80 designers and creators participated in the in-house ‘Global Design Project’ competition, which

The Honda HR-V joined the Honda range last month and it’s here to stay. The first HR-V was shown revealed as a concept car at the 1997 Tokyo Motor Show. Known as one of the first ever low emission cars, it was seen as a futuristic vehicle in Japan, its home country. The new 2015 model is full of the original’s unique character and heritage, making it our best HR-V to date. The HR-V has been brilliantly designed to adjust around you. It is perfectly in sequence with your life – combining comfort, style, and top notch fuel economy. It launched in our showroom in September and it has been a big hit with our customers since. If you didn’t come to the launch, don’t worry, it’s still on show and you can come see it today. It boasts numerous features that are truly remarkable. The bold and beautiful sleek design makes your HR-V a head turner. The intuitively designed cockpit allows you to keep your eyes on the road while being in control of your environment as every feature is where you need it. The premium feel interior makes your daily drives a time of comfort & relaxation. Honda’s innovative Magic Seats system is spectacular, the 60:40 split Magic Seats adapt effortlessly. The rear seats can configure in lots of useful ways. With one simple motion the seat can be folded up towards the headrest, providing a tall space behind the front seats. Also, the parking sensors at the front and rear make getting into tight spaces easier, this makes parking a dream. But it doesn’t even stop there; the sunroof, the advanced safety, the stylish exterior, the sophisticated cockpit; it’s all perfect. Perfect for you, perfect for your life. But we can talk about it all day; watch for yourself how pleasingly precise & perfect it is.

New 18-inch alloy wheels and a custom design rear bumper further highlight the Civic Tourer’s sporty characteristics. The interior also features a customised theme; blue stitching can be found on the steering wheel and on the gear shift, along with a sporty black roof lining, which is also found on the Civic Sport and Civic Type R.
