SMARTER & SAFER THE NISSAN N-VISION MODELS

The Nissan N-Vision trim level is now available on the Juke, Qashqai and X-Trail model. The special versions of the crossovers are designed to promote Nissan’s smart, safety-shield technologies.

At the heart of the range is Nissan’s pioneering Around View Monitor (AVM) system. AVM is part of Nissan’s desire to remove the stress and difficulty from modern-day driving by giving drivers the confidence to manage manoeuvres more easily. It is also an integral part of Nissan’s journey towards ProPilot, the brand’s autonomous driving technology which will debut in Europe on the Qashqai crossover in 2017.

ProPilot is part of Nissan Intelligent Mobility, a strategy announced earlier this year as a guide to the brand’s product evolution. It will anchor critical company decisions around how cars are powered, driven and integrated into society, all while remaining focused on creating more enjoyable driving experiences.

NISSAN COMMIT TO BUILD NEW MODELS FR

ore jobs, more cars! Thanks to the support of the UK government, Nissan has announced that they will be producing the new Qashqai and X-Trail models in Sunderland, UK. A Nissan spokesman said that the production of these models could lead to hundreds of new jobs being created in the coming years while securing and sustaining the jobs of more than 7,000 workers at the Sunderland plant.

Nissan’s Sunderland plant opened in 1986 and has produced almost 9 million cars since. One in three British cars are produced in Sunderland, which is the UK’s largest car plant of all time. In addition, 80% of production from Sunderland is exported to over 130 international markets. More than 2 million Qashqai’s have been built in Sunderland in less than 10 years. In addition to the 7,000 direct employees at Sunderland, the plant supports a further 28,000 British automotive supply chain jobs. To date, Nissan has invested more than £3.7 billion in Sunderland.

 issan, the official global automotive sponsor of the UEFA Champions League, has confirmed Real Madrid C.F. winger, Gareth Bale, and Manchester City F.C. striker, Sergio Agüero, as the brand’s new global ambassadors and Engineers of Excitement.

As Nissan’s new global ambassadors, Bale and Agüero will help the Japanese car

manufacturer to bring football fans closer to the UEFA Champions League action. They will play a pivotal role over the course of the season in exciting fans, starting with a lead role in an exclusive film created by Nissan.

Showcasing their electrifying skills, the film reveals the star players as they go head-tohead in an intense and competitive rally. The Engineers of Excitement challenge each other to return the ball, and we see their precise shooting technique and innovative skills up close as they play the ball back and forth.

On becoming Nissan’s new global ambassador, Gareth Bale said: “I’m thrilled to be working with Nissan on their partnership with the UEFA Champions League. Having won the tournament twice with Real Madrid C.F. the competition is very special to me and I know it takes a tremendous amount of hard work to win.

We were delighted to support Children in Need again this year, it is such a worthy cause and thanks to your support, we’re able to help make a real difference to the lives of children all across the UK.

BBC Children in Need provide support to disadvantaged children in the UK through local and national charities. This includes children who have experienced mental, physical or sensory disabilities; those living in poverty or in situations of deprivation or suffering distress, abuse or neglect.

The Vision of the Charity is to ensure every child in the UK has a childhood which is: • Safe • Happy and Secure • Allows them the chance to reach their potential On November 18th we ran a number of activities across the group including cake sales, the find Pudsey competition and dressing down.

Many staff and customers showed their support by donating some sweet and savoury treats and popping in to join us for a cake and a cuppa to support the cause.
