UPDATED BIKES Honda has revealed a number of substantial changes to the Integra, CBR500R, NC750X and CB500X ready for 2016. This means it is going to be a great start to 2016 for Honda with these products adding to the already confirmed Africa Twin.
2016 Integra - What’s changed?
The unique Integra, which combines the dynamic performance of a motorcycle with the comfort and convenience of a scooter receives a number of upgrades that further enhance its premium appeal. Changes Include: • LED lighting front and rear. • New Showa Dual Bending Valves front forks. • LCD instruments with personalised colour options. • 3 levels of sporty S mode on its Dual Clutch Transmission version to cover a wider variety of riding styles and scenarios. • EURO4 compliant for its frugal parallel twin engine. 2

2016 CBR500R- What’s changed? The CBR500R 2016 will get revised styling to create a more “edgier look” as Honda describe. It will now feature an adjustable preload for the front suspension, a larger fuel tank, adjustable brake levers, shorter exhaust silencer for a better engine note and a “wave” style ignition key. The CBR500R is aimed a sportier offering in the A2 license category, it’s an engaging, fun and satisfying bike with fantastic acceleration and handling which exceeds expectations! Changes Include: • Steeply-angled dual LED lights- through to the upswept tail equipped with LED lighting • A range of new colour schemes

2016 NC750X- What’s changed?
The NC750X has not only been a consistently popular for us but also the rest of Europe ever since its launch in 2012. This is largely down to the combination of practicality, reliability, rugged off-road styling and the frugal petrol consumption. For 2016 the styling has been updated to bring it more into line with the other ‘X’ models in Honda’s line up. Changes Include: • LED Headlights and Taillights • 70mm taller windscreen for reduced rider fatigue • Three levels of S mode for the Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) version to cover a wider range of riding scenarios and styles • New Showa “dual-bending” valve front fork for optimal linear suspension behavior on both compression and rebound; preload adjustable rear shock
• Increased helmet storage area (21 to 22 litres), situated where the fuel tank is on standard models • New compact lightweight silencer producing a deeper exhaust note from the 745cc parallel twin engine with 270 degree phase crank.

2016 CB500X- What’s changed?
Honda revealed this bike recently at the AIMExpo motorcycle show in America. The bike is aimed at the A2 license category and has been popular thanks to its big bike looks and rugged style. Changes for 2016 include a 100mm taller windscreen, LED Headlights and Taillights and pre-load adjustable suspension. Other updates include adjustable brake levers and a revised gear shift mechanism for a feel from the gear change.

The event includes a display of bikes outside the RNLI station in Scarborough followed by a night parade at 8pm. Scarborough Gold Wing Light Parade is one of the country’s biggest and most colourful bike gatherings, in aid to celebrate this iconic touring bike. This year was something special due to the Gold Wing had its 40th birthday. The charity event has been an annual fixture since 2008 for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), raising over £34,000. The Gold Wings have a passionate fan base, the original model, the GL100, was £1,600 and sold more than 15,000 globally when it was launched in 1975. The bike was a revolution due to opening up possibilities of much longer distance touring. Gold Wing owners at the parade each year include company directors, factory and store managers, doctors, photographers, former policemen, engineers and shop owners, says John Bates, the event organiser. Fun at Norton Way Group Last month saw all of the different dealerships that make up Norton Way Group rally together to help raise funds for Children In Need. The group took part in an array of activities’ including fancy dress, cake sales, raffles, finding Pudsey competitions and a #GetSudseyWithPudsey Car Wash.
It was a great day with everyone contributing to raise an amazing £544. This helped the charity to a record breaking £37m raised by the show that was televised on the 13th November. Celebrities including One Direction, Dame Helen Mirren and Sherlock actor Martin Freeman joined a fantastic selection of presenters including Dermot O’Leary and Tess Daly to put on a spectacular show of performances and comedy sketches. Stand out moments of the TV show involved a special star wars feature, signing performances from Jess Glynne & Ellie Golding and Call the Midwife stars went head to head on Strictly Come Dancing.
