Honda have hit back to the old school with the new 2017 Honda Rebel. A bike designed to resonate with riders in their early 20s as well as the older enthusiast. Riders that look at bikes as far more than just a mode of transport, but as an example of attitude and lifestyle too. Two key words ran headlined throughout the Rebels development: ‘Simple’ and ‘raw’. The way Honda have managed to do so much with so little whilst paying attention to every single detail, is an art form in itself. It has a lean bobber stance with 2

liquid cooled twin cylinder engine that the CBR500R does – perfect for cruising with a smooth and linear power delivery throughout the rev range. To support the Rebel’s low-slung look its attractive tubular steel frame grips the engine in three places and is designed to be as narrow as possible around the rider’s inseam. The frame includes an innovative rear loop that separates the seat from the textured metal mudguard; the bolt-on cast aluminium sub frame provides further scope for customisation. Club 1 Super TRANSPORTING 1.17% OF THE GLOBAL POPULATION
In some areas of the world, Honda motorcycles aren’t just useful; they’re a necessity. In Vietnam, the Honda Super Cub is so popular that the word “Honda” is a metonymy for “motorcycle taxi” – similar to “Hoover” and “Cellotape”. More than 87 million models have been sold worldwide, with sales set to exceed 100 million in 2017, making the Cub not only the best-selling motorcycle of all time, but the best-selling motorised vehicle of all time.
The first-generation Civic was way ahead of its time – and its competitors. Even before mandatory standard were enforced, the CVCC engine reduced hydrocarbo emissions by 98.5%, carbon monoxide emissions by 98% and NOx emissions by 82%. In 1975 it was nam ‘the number one most fuel-efficient car in the U.S.’ by Environmental Protection Agency.

Not only do all of Honda’s outboard motors surpass the toughest emissions standards in the world, being four-stroke instead of two-stroke, they don’t burn any oil, resulting in cleaner oceans and great news for fish!
Portable Generator 7 EU CONQUERING EVEREST
Fireblade 6 CBR1000RR SAFEGUARDING RACERS
The 2007 Caudwell Xtreme Everest was the largest ever medical research expedition at high altitude, consisting of 60 doctors, 208 volunteers, 30 tonnes of equipment and seven medical laboratories. 38 Honda portable generators were kept running round the clock at 8,000 meters for over three months. The purpose: to study human performance at extreme altitudes. Incredible.
The CBR1000RR Fireblade is a firm favourite with motorcycle marshals at racing championships far and wide – especially at the Isle of Man TT, where a few seconds can make all the difference. It’s the perfect “rapid response” bike: quick, light and efficient. There have been eight generations of the Fireblade to date. The latest one, coming to UK showrooms in 2017, boasts the best power-toweight ratio in the superbike’s history.
