Mazda6’s dynamic setup has been refined with the introduction of G-Vectoring Control (GVC), the first application of Mazda’s new series of SKYACTIV-VEHICLE DYNAMICS technology. This ingenious and largely imperceptible system improves driver confidence, passenger comfort and vehicle handling via incredibly subtle manipulation of the powertrain. By monitoring steering and throttle position when you enter a corner under power, GVC momentarily reduces the amount of torque delivered to the front wheels, thereby transferring a fraction more weight onto the front axle which allows the front wheels to turn more precisely. This increase in engine refinement is complimented by a comprehensive improvement in sound insulation, including the adoption of upgraded door seals, tighter tolerances between panels and sound deadening materials added to the underbody, rear console, headliner and doors, while laminated front side windows further suppress wind noise. The Mazda6 is available in eight colours including Mazda’s new Machine

Grey Metallic, which having starred on the all-new Mazda MX-5 RF at the 2016 New York Motor Show, goes into production on the Mazda6. All 6s now come with a new leather steering wheel and upgraded dash trims, which, together with Mazda’s continued competence at creating slick, substantial switchgear and one of the class’s best infotainment systems when it comes to ease of use, makes the 6’s cabin an even nicer place in which to spend time than it was before. Overall it’s a better car than before, then, and offers a more stylish approach than many of its estate rivals. With cars arriving this Autumn and pricing remaining unchanged, the Mazda6’s enhancements come at no extra cost and are set to reaffirm Mazda’s position at the forefront of this competitive sector. MAZDA 3 FACELIFT IS Mazda has launched the facelifted 3, which features mechanical upgrades and a host of interior and exterior tweaks.
The 3's front end gains an updated version of the corporate Mazda face to bring its look closer in line with that of the CX-3 and other models in the range. The headlights have a more squared-off design and are more smoothly incorporated into the chrome grille surround, as well as now being available as adaptive LED units. Revised bumper details have also been added. Minor changes to the rear bumper have been made on the hatchback and the door mirrors have been tweaked to include wrap-around indicators. There are also two new colours, including the first production use of the grey paint featured on the MX-5 RF at its debut, and new 18in alloy wheels on Sport Nav spec. Under its revised skin, the facelifted 3 features Mazda's G-Vectoring Control (GVC), which aims to improve stability and comfort over long distances. GVC uses torque changes from the engine to put extra weight over the front tyres when turning in to a corner. Mazda 4

S FINALLY REVEALED claims this reduces the need for the driver to make steering corrections, as well as improving comfort for passengers by reducing the lateral forces acting upon them. The new system is part of Mazda’s ‘Jinba Ittai’ or ‘rider and horse as one body’ mantra, under which Mazda aims to improve the comfort of its models – something the 3 and 6 have been criticised for in previous Autocar reviews. Tweaks to the suspension are also claimed to improve comfort and Mazda's Natural Sound Smoother (NSS) system aims to reduce the knock noise of louder diesel engines. The handbrake has been replaced by an electric parking brake, in line with many other cars across the industry. Elsewhere inside, there's redesigned dashboard trim, switch panels and door handle bezels, as well as more thorough soundproofing throughout. The head-up display
now has a full colour display, too. The current-generation 3 was introduced in the UK in 2014, and the all-new 3 isn't due until 2018, so the current model's mid-life refresh paves the way for the next-generation car. The facelifted 3 goes on sale on 1 October and will be priced from £17,595. READ THE ARTICLE ONLINE

NISSAN IS GOING GREEN WITH ADBLUE
With all the recent focus on vehicle emissions, we thought it worth flagging something of a positive in the industry: an eco-innovation which isn’t yet commonplace but is gaining ground and has the potential to significantly reduce pollution from diesel engines: AdBlue. CLICK HERE TO READ ONLINE
The new regulation for diesel has taken effect. The new regulations target a hosts of emission s particularly nitrogen oxides(NOx). Your new LCV has been fitted with an advanced emissions control system that meets the latest Euro 6 exhaust gas regulations.
HOW DOES THIS SYSTEM WORK?
Based on simple chemistry, AdBlue is a high purity urea solution which, when combined with the harmful nitrous oxides in the vehicle exhaust gases, reacts to convert around 90% of them to harmless nitrogen and water vapour. It actually enables manufacturers to take a legitimate shortcut to make their diesel engines comply with Euro-6 emission regulations to improve air quality.
IMPORTANT UPDATE
Higher Penalties for Mobile Phone Use From the first half of 2017, drivers caught calling, texting or using an app while driving will receive six penalty points instead of the current three while the on-the-spot fine will double to £200. CL I C K HE R E T O RE AD M ORE
KEEP TOPPED UP
AdBlue is stored in its own tank we’ll be pleased to show you where your AdBlue tank is and how to top it up. It is really important that keep your AdBlue levels topped up-if you run out, your vehicle may not start.

NEW HONDA CIVIC REVE The all-new Honda Civic has been revealed ahead of its Paris Motor Show 2016 debut, and we are all for it.
After many months of concept cars, teaser images and spy shots, the 10th-generation and all-new Honda Civic has finally been revealed. The new Honda Civic will make its world debut at the Paris Motor Show later this month. The all-new Civic represents a significant step forward for Honda’s brand, with the new car benefitting from the largest single model development programme in the company’s history.
Driving dynamics are boosted by all-new suspension, a lower centre of gravity and a boost in body rigidity, while the driving position has also been set nearer to the road. The new model is also 16kg lighter than that of the previous generation Civic, while exhibiting 52% greater torsional stiffness. Design highlights include new larger and wider wheels along with a long wheelbase and short overhangs. Inside, there’s a completely new instrument display layout with a new seven-inch colour TFT-LCD Driver Information. The new Civic is available with the second-generation of Honda’s infotainment and connectivity system, which offers enhanced intuitive operation and full smartphone integration via both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
New Civic, new look, new design
Built on an all-new platform, the new hatchback – which will later be joined an estate model – is 30mm wider and 130mm longer than the previous model while sitting 20mm lower, and brings extra space for front and rear passengers. Boot space remains class leading at 478 litres – up by one litre compared to the previous model, and the Civic also offers a low sill height and wide boot opening along with a hidden underfloor compartment.
Driving Safe in the Civic
Included as standard will be the Honda SENSING suite of active safety technologies, which includes Collision Mitigation Braking System, Lane 10

Departure Warning, Road Departure Mitigation, Lane Keeping Assist System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Traffic Sign Recognition, Intelligent Speed Assistance and Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control. Further safety technologies in the all-new Civic include Blind Spot Information, Cross Traffic Monitor and a multi-angle rear view camera, while Vehicle Stability Assist is fitted as standard.
New Turbo engines
Engine line-up from launch debuts two new Honda petrol VTEC engines – a 127bhp 1.0-litre three-cylinder and a 180bhp 1.5-litre four-cylinder. Both engines will be available with either a newlydesigned six-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic. The line-up will also gain an updated 120bhp version of the current 1.6-litre diesel towards the end of 2017 – emissions have not been announced yet as the engine has not been homologated. The new Honda Civic is due from early 2017. Pricing will be announced closer to the Civic’s launch at the Paris Motor Show at the end of the month. The five-door hatchback will go on sale in the US first, before European sales start early 2017. Call us to find out more about the new Honda Civic. CLICK HERE TO READ ONLINE

NEW PEUGEOT 5008
A whole new dimension for SUVs Its name hasn't changed, but everything else has. The all-new Peugeot 5008 breaks new ground as a large seven-seater SUV in the C segment. The 2017 model is claimed to mix the practicality of an MPV with some off-road ability. It comes exclusively as a seven-seater. What it’s done instead is turn it into a seven-seat SUV – all the practicality of an MPV (or so it says) with none of the image.
Rear passengers are given power sockets, blinds, trays on the back of the first-row seats, hooks and cup holders. Boot space can be maximised by removing the third-row seats. They weigh less than 11kg to make extraction easier.
Design
We first saw this kind of look on the smaller 3008, but the lines work miles better on the 19cm-longer 5008. And then there’s the interior – Peugeot calls it the i-Cockpit – with its twin eight and 12.3inch screens, tiny wheel and superb rake. Boot space is also said to be class-leading. Compared with the old car, the new 5008 has grown in length by 19cm and its wheelbase is 16.5cm longer, but it stands at an identical 1.64 metres tall with roof bars. Peugeot’s designers have given the car a more muscular-looking exterior by using an upright front grille and harder-edged rear and strong door lines to create very different styling from the outgoing model’s van-like silhouette. The new Peugeot 5008 is more than just an SUV. It stands out in the market with an innovative configuration: • Three matching, separate, folding seats in the second row, adjustable in length and inclination • Two removable, separate, folding seats in the third row. • The biggest boot capacity with 780 dm3 VDA 210 (1060 litres)
Technology and interior
There’s a significantly updated cabin, complete with Peugeot’s wraparound i-Cockpit, which adds a 12.3in TFT instrument display and 8.0in centre console touchscreen. As standard, every 5008 model comes with seven seats. All three rows of seats have length adjustability, five different angles of inclination and three-point Isofix anchor points.
Engines and gearbox
Like its predecessor, the 5008 is available at launch with a choice of turbocharged petrol and diesel engines, but it gains a more potent rangetopping 2.0-litre diesel option. The smallest petrol, a 128bhp 1.2-litre, comes with a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic. It’s joined by a 1.6-litre that produces 163bhp and is mated exclusively with the auto. The diesel range consists of 1.6-litre and 2.0-litre engines making between 99bhp and 178bhp. The most potent powers the 5008 GT and comes with an auto gearbox only.
Price and on-sale date
The new model looks set to arrive in Britain in mid-February, with entry prices rising slightly from those of the outgoing car, which starts at £23,130. Peugeot says the increase is the result of the dropped base model and additional high-tech features. It means the 5008 will be pricier than the base version of a key rival, the X-Trail, which starts at £21,995. But the Peugeot's more striking appearance and long list of standard kit should help to justify the premium. TO READ THE FULL ARTICLE ONLINE

OCTAVIA: 20 YRS OLD
20 years ago, on 3 September 1996, former Czech President Vaclav Havel gave the starting signal for the production of the ŠKODA OCTAVIA in the newly opened part of the plant at the company's headquarters. This also marked the beginning of a unique success story: Over the following two decades, the ŠKODA OCTAVIA became a worldwide bestseller and is still the best selling model of the brand from Mladá Boleslav. The popular compact car paved the way for ŠKODA’s success.
In February 1995 in Mladá Boleslav, the foundation stone for the new production line was laid, on which the first ŠKODA OCTAVIAs would be produced around 18 months later. For the new series ŠKODA built a modern production line in a 32,000-square-meter hall. In addition, a total of 2,500 square meters of office space and 3,000 square meters of social areas were created. The development of the completely new OCTAVIA model series began in 1992, approximately one year after the traditional Czech brand joined the Volkswagen Group. The ŠKODA OCTAVIA was based on a Group platform which was completely new at the time. With the clever liftback solution, the new compact featured an especially practical highlight: Thanks to the large tailgate of the hatchback model, customers benefited from excellent access to the 528-litre boot, which could be extended to as much as 1,328 litres by folding the rear seats down. In 1996 – the first sales year – ŠKODA OCTAVIA customers could choose from two fourcylinder petrol engines or a turbodiesel drivetrain. In May 1998, the ŠKODA OCTAVIA COMBI extended the model range; from 1999 the estate version was also available with all-wheel drive. The second-generation ŠKODA OCTAVIA seamlessly continued the success story of its predecessor: Between 2004 and 2013, 1.6 million customers opted for the saloon, 900,000 buyers chose the ŠKODA OCTAVIA estate. The third generation of the ŠKODA OCTAVIA has been in production since November 2012. Since the start of production of the first generation on September 3, 1996, more than five million ŠKODA OCTAVIAs have left the production halls. In addition to the main plant in Mladá Boleslav the compact is also manufactured at the ŠKODA plants in China, India, Russia and 14 Kazakhstan.
