This comprehensive and fast-paced entry-level program is intended for the person who has never worked in healthcare and is looking for a new career skill set. Pharmacy Technician Certification FastForward Eligible Program
Be on your way to become a crucial player in a growing healthcare field with our fast-paced, 80-hour Pharmacy Technician Certificate Program! Pharmacy Technicians are sought-after professionals for pharmacies located in hospitals, drug stores, doctors’ offices, and grocery stores. The focused curriculum will prepare you to sit for the CPhT Certification Exam from NHA, giving you the credentials needed to invest in your future and prepare for a rewarding career as a Pharmacy Technician. This course will examine the areas critical to the pharmacy technician practice to include pharmacology for technicians, laws and regulations, compounding, medication safety, quality assurance, order entry and fill processes, inventory management, billing and reimbursement.
DENTAL Dental Radiation Safety This one day course satisfies the Virginia Board of Dentistry’s Radiation Certification requirement (18VAC60-30-80), thus enabling individuals certified to take dental x-rays in Virginia. This course will not provide clinical competence in taking x-rays. The emphasis of this course is on the safe use of x-ray equipment. Clinical competence by students in making dental radiographs is not an expected outcome of the class. Attendees must be fluent in the English language. If you are more than 10 minutes late to class you will be denied entrance.
