Jumanji

Diablo X Nothin But Net X Tongue Tied

Pre-Order $250 Overrun $150 Reg # 505263006 It only seemed fitting to name the BEST Hampshire boar we’ve raised in the last decade, JUMANJI, after the challenging year we’ve all faced in 2020. A standout on shavings at an early age, Jumanji has continued to get better and better each day. I’d love to say his mates went out and dominated; but the best two never got to see a ring, making that a tall task to ask. Jumanji is incredibly stout and square everywhere. From his skull, to his blade, to his hip and at the ground his strong pastern set is complimented with square, even toes, a big chest floor and true from end to end. His dam is a beautiful, younger sow and his grand dam is the mother of Lewis’s Top 5 Hampshire Gilt from Expo in 2018, in addition to multiple females we’ve kept and built around here. Jumanji is STOUT, ROBUST and OFFERS BIG TIME PRESENCE!!

The Program X Busch League

Pre-Order $150 Overrun $100 Reg # 499908001 Ones that are built and bred like this Reserve Jr Champion from the Indiana State Fair will have a place in Plymouth all day, every day. From a build standpoint, this son of the Program is timeless — one that can go all day with comfort and ease. His extension of neck, boldness of build and length of hip is ideal to not only making elite caliber show gilts and barrows, but breeding hogs that will function and prosper. His dam was purchased as the lead-off lot from Drake’s production sale and the Drake name is synonymous with hogs that have practicality bred in for generations. The grandmother to Busch League is a gilt we showed at Indy a few years ago that stood third in class to the Champion and Reserve; and when you can combine form and function with desirable show ring qualities it’s quintessential to raising great livestock.

Keep Talkin Stranded X Speechless

Pre-Order $150 Overrun $100 Reg # 500629008 We build around dams here and the mother of Keep Talkin is a good one. We priced her as a bred for $7,500 a few years ago and have enjoyed every minute she’s been around. She’s the dam of the Grand Barrow and Champion Hampshire at the 2018 SE Regional in Perry. We retained two littermate sisters to Keep Talkin’ with one being the consensus pick as the best gilt from our April farrowing group. We sold more mate brothers from his litter to go and compete at national shows as any Hampshire litter we’ve made to date. Keep Talkin’ has huge feet with square toes and mega big legs. He tracks square and true off both ends and is upright in the degree to his pasterns. The width of chest and blade is matched by the roundness of body he has and expression of muscle shape and volume throughout. I’ve been Keep Talkin’s biggest fan from an early age and continue to look forward to using him in the future in a big way.

Close Enough Power of Veto X Nothin’ But Net

Pre-Order $125 Overrun $75 Reg # 504306006 It has been a decade since we left the seeds in an off-belted Hampshire boar, but 43-6 has stood out above the rest from an early age. His skull, head and neck are stout and still attractive. He ties high into an impressive blade and big top with great rib shape. Squareness out of his hip and range of motion, in combination with correctness of angles make him an extremely unique Hampshire boar. From a pedigree standpoint his sire shares the same dam as the Champion Hampshire gilt from Tulsa in 2019 and his 93-1 dam happens to be the mother to the Champion Hampshire gilt from the 2019 SW District in Oklahoma that went on to be 6th Hampshire Gilt out at OYE. Littermates to Close Enough included our lead-off gilt from the Girls Night Out event and Varnes’ multiple time champion or reserve barrow exhibited in the southeast region. Even with just half a belt, we felt Close Enough offered too much good to make him a barrow and we know you will too!!

Ring the Bell HRFD7 Hells Bells 66-5 X TMF6 Light This 28-8

Pre-Order $150 Overrun $100 Reg # 626446008 As unique as we’ve made to date!! We’d like to say thank you to Niederer Hay and Livestock for investing in this outcross Yorkshire boar. Ring the Bell is a long fronted hog with a stout boar head that ties into an elevated blade, is shorter backed, with carrier like muscle yet in a negative package. His angles help him cast a killer silhouette from the side and with his combination of look and muscle, we feel his ability to generate both pures and crosses is unlimited. His sire, Hells Bells, stands at A Cut Above and shares the same dam as the Champion Yorkshire and Supreme Overall at the Arizona National. Ring the Bell’s mother is a second parity Light This daughter dammed by a Bruno 273-8 sow that’s the mother to our Champion Yorkshire Gilt from the 2018 Summer Type Conference shown by the Egger Family. That high selling gilt’s first litter of pigs by Dominator generated over $15,000 in revenue on a $3,750 purchase. Great return on an investment! With this track record for progeny, we feel Ring the Bell is a great option to breed to the Amped Up, Dominator, Gain Control and In Control lines as he offers a complete outcross on both sides of his pedigree.

Mahomie Notch 2-6

Maximus X Big Timber

Pre-Order $150 Overrun $100 Reg # 411546006 No question the best red boar we’ve housed; consequently, named after the best QB in the game. This RESERVE CHAMPION DUROC BOAR from the Summer Type Show in Des Moines was a logical one to fit our program and we couldn’t be more excited to have him residing here in Plymouth. The ability to get red barrows with this build, look and mass in one shot is electrifying. His center rib width is positively uncommon, and with a neck and head carriage that is unparalleled relative to his conservative length of body. His ability to get out and strut across the grass is remarkable to see. Couple that with an impressive litter including a $13,000 littermate brother bought in Des Moines and a pair of sisters that Bryan turned down $7,500 for offers peace of mind that he’ll breed true. Quite the specimen in our minds and a good one regardless of breed!!

Karate Kid Necessary Roughness X Stand Away

Pre-Order $100 Overrun $75 Reg # 415174010 In talking with Lee at his pens in Des Moines, it took a mere matter of seconds to understand that the Fordice philosophy is to spend their lives breeding good hogs trying to make their herd better in terms of consistency, productivity, and durability. It’s with this mindset they generate ones that consistently find the winner’s circle and often help improve and move that breed forward for themselves and others alike. The Fordice crew dedicates their lives to being successful in the Duroc breed and the passion for good ones bleeds deep. You can see it on their faces and hear it in their voices when listening to them discuss their hogs. Expect game changing extension and build up front with Karate Kid. This class winner from the Summer Type Show in Des Moines has a long neck, stout head and bold blade. A big ribbed hog that’s big footed and stout made and from this firm generating daughters that can flat out make good ones and make your herd better is a given.

Good Things Hardwired X Dirty Secret X Red 7

Pre-Order $350 Overrun $250 We’re happy to introduce GOOD THINGS, the $39,000 High Seller from The Draft! I went down and viewed this guy the Monday before the sale and instantly wanted to bring him home with me. In Jason Lackey’s words - “He’s backed by some of our key generators, 32-2 represents many traits that we strive to replicate each crop. He’s moderate, dense, and has the right angle to his shoulder and hock. His grandmother is the mother of Weston’s 4th overall D4 gilt at Expo last year. Admittedly, she was a little past her prime on show day, but was a very fun animal to show and have represent our program. She and her sister look to be key contributors moving forward. The grandmother (52-3) was herself the 5th overall crossbred gilt for Mia Stump at expo in 2018, and also the champion of division 4. This boar is bred for potency, and his mother also came out of an exceptional litter. He’s not big and tall and pretty. He’s a stout breeding hog with real muscle, and we all know how valuable that looks to be once again moving forward”. Dam of g ood t h i n gs g ran d Dam o f go o d t h i ngs

Netf lix Sling It X Bad Medicine

Pre-Order $150 Overrun $100 Love the Bad Medicine sow behind this pair of Sling It sons as she is one of the most impressive sows on the place from the side. She was the lone gilt in a male dominated litter that included Kaliff’s premium sale making barrow at Sioux Falls, SD. On the bottom side lies a Flawless daughter out of the 36-11 Midnight Smoke daughter. This was a half-brother x half-sister mating utilizing the 11-9 Super 8 sow that we had affectionately named Black Beauty. We’ve never cloned one before, but putting pencil to paper the choice to do so would rest in either 36-11 or her 11-9 Super 8 dam, both of which are close in her pedigree. Netflix’s stoutness and width is aided by combining more curvature to his rib; which facilitates to more top side mass and thickness from end to end. He will generate width to compliment those skinny green females that seem to need more.

Pre-Order $150 Overrun $100 Love the Bad Medicine sow behind this pair of Sling It sons as she is one of the most impressive sows on the place from the side. Right length and angle to his hip to fix issues.
