valentine's day - concurso

Love is a mysterious and complex emotion that we have. To be in love is to be alive, to be happy, to have someone who cares and likes us by our side. Love is not just a girlfriend or a boyfriend, it is the friends we make, the family we have, the stuff we like to do, the music we hear, the animals we pet…

It can be described as the warm hug or the look we do with that person we will never see again, the smell of our favourite childhood candy, that magical place we used to go, the old cringe memories we have, and the time we spend with that one person that always makes us smile.

It may look like a virtue, but it can also be a curse. If you do not love, you are dead, sad, depressed, you feel like every day is a rainy day in July, you feel cold, alone, but most of all you are emotionally empty. It doesn’t matter what it is or how it is made, just be kind, be happy, feel alive.

We all have loved somebody

Especially teens and elders

Love is for everybody

Except for our toddlers

Love is classy

Love is a feeling

Love is also sassy

It makes us start thinking

Thinking about what?

May you ask

I would tell you but, You wouldn't be able to gasp

Gasping for air

Could be of unrequited love

Making you want to tear

Every little love dove

I wrote this poem to say Love is like a required team

And I wouldn't be here today

If it wasn't for him

Love is a feeling of affection that makes one person want the best for the other and develops the ability to show it.

Maybe a classic of true love is the romance between Romeo and Juliet. The love between the two is so intense that it is able to resist everyone.

Love can be manifested in different forms: maternal or fraternal love, sibling love, physical love, love of life, love of nature, love of animals, self-love and much more. The love between Romeo and Juliet is hopelessly blind. For me, love is very complicated, or not! Love is confusing sometimes.

I can’t express more about love, but what I do know is that love is a kind of bewildering feeling of affection and a little complex.

But sometimes love is good…
