- To construct a tower no less than 8’-0”out of 4’ X 4’ X 1/4” sheet of steel. Considering the aesthetics The main focus was on the stability, hieght/weight ratio, percantage of material waste and craft. CONCEPT: - The aim was to erect an asymmetrical zig-zag tower maintaing the centre of gravity of structure for stability. The tower sits on a flat base while the geometry allows a good height and less than 2% of waste.

RHINOCEROS + GRASSHOPPER + V-RAY

[ UB SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE & PLANNING ] Throughout the semester I experimented on Rhinoceros and Grasshopper to produce abstract geometry in 3D. V-Ray was used extensively to study the effects of natural and artificial lights on a given structure. Grasshopper a strong parametric tool made easy to understand and create convoluted geometry.
