Working in Partnership Adult Community Learning is partly funded through a franchise agreement with Neath Port Talbot college and also partly funded by the Welsh Assembly. In order to ensure the best for all of our learners we also work in partnership with a number of other organisations to provide a high quality learning experience throughout all of our courses. These include the Learner Support Service (see page 2), Community Development and Projects (see page 3), Genesis (working with lone parents),

Flexible New Deal (working with people out of work) and many more. Adult Community Learning also sit on the NPT Learning Festival Group. This group is supported by NIACE Dysgu Cymru to promote adult learning by hosting events throughout the year. For example we have recently held the Adult Learner of the Year Awards 2010 (see pictures) The Awards Ceremony celebrates the achievements of learners from Neath Port Talbot. The event was held at Margam Orangery and was a very high profile, fun event.

Important Information All classes are correct at the time of print. We may change or add to the courses as advertised, for instance where a course is under or over-subscribed. New courses may be introduced throughout the year. Learners’ interests are taken into consideration where a change is made. A class needs a minimum of 8 learners enrolled to run so if you are interested in attending a course, why not bring a friend?
