Christmas Card Card Design

F

or this project, I used the application Adobe Photoshop. The objective was to create a holiday-themed card using the principles and grid rules essential to a successful design, but also something pleasing to the eye. I chose a festive font and a red holly berry to represent the happy season!

These are pictures of the animal parts/backgrounds I used in my design.

Hybrid Mutant Animal Blending

F

or this project, I used the application Adobe Photoshop. The objective was to create one mutant animal composed completely of other animal parts. It was a fun project, so I chose animals that had patterns and colors to represent awesome abnormality.

Sunset Model Image-Layering

T

his is a work I created on my own time, and I used the application Adobe Photoshop. The objective was to display a feeling through a person, symbolizing an open mind. This practiced blending mode skills, cropping skills, and filter skills. In order to achieve the intended look, I went with a purple scheme, reflecting the sunset color scheme.

Tiger/Dog Mutant Animal Burn and Dodge Tool Practice

F

or this project, I used the application Adobe Photoshop. The objective was to blend a tiger and a dog together seamlessly, and make it look as real as possible. This practiced saturation and hue skills. In order to make it look 100% realistic, I used cloning techniques and burn and dodge tool.

This is the original design I created. After some critique from other designers, I improved it.

This is the original design with color.

Graphic Design T-Shirt Advertising

F

or this project, I used both Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. The objective was to create a t-shirt design that represents graphic art. I wanted to be creative, so I took inspiration from my own sketches/ drawings, and made the focal point an eye.

Low-Poly Animal Geometric Sculpting For this project, I was required to create an animal of my choice entirely out of triangles. I used Adobe Photoshop. This practiced pen tool use, and color palette interpretation. I created the triangles by using the pen and curvature tool, and for the background, I followed an ocean water color scheme.

My Graphic Life Shape-Building For this project, I used the application Adobe Photoshop. The objective was to find different logos for each type of overall logo design. After I found desired logos, I briefly describe why I chose them, and edited them into circles, creating a sleek, modern design.

Warhol Art Project Hues and Saturations For this project, I was required to change a normal picture of a celebrity into an Andy Warhol-like work of art. I used Adobe Photoshop, and I learned how to properly name and order layers. To create the different colored hues, I applied a saturation filter to each layer, creating a ‘pop’.

Color-Pop Roses Photography This is a picture I captured and edited in Adobe Photoshop. I wanted to show intricacy within the flowers, and the color of the rose bud represents their beautiful life. In order to create the “brightness of life, I only left color on the roses. Everything else is grayscale.

Grayscale Flower Photography This is a picture I captured and edited in Adobe Photoshop. I wanted to show intricacy within the flowers, and the color of the rose bud represents their beautiful life. In order to create the “brightness of life, I only left color on the roses. Everything else is grayscale.

Silhouette Photography I took this picture on a lake trip one day with my friends. I wanted to accentuate the sentimentality of a memory, captured inside a photo frame. In order to make it feel a little more vintage, I edited the photo in Adobe Photoshop, adding some purple hues.
