Personal Logo,

I made this design look like it is breaking to give it a glitchy sort of feel along with a color palette to match it. I chose cyan, magenta, and red as my colors because they seem to fit the logo very well. I layered the letters P and M when put in color so that it pops out more and put multiple lines of different colors in the back to make it more vibrant. This was completely made in Adobe Illustrator.

NPTC Shirt Design ,

This was a design that would be put on a t-shirt representing National Park Technology Center name or initials along with Ad Design and SkillsUSA. My logo for National Park represents the mascot and the terrain that the college is on. I wanted to make the design pretty simple but relate to the college in many aspects. I even used the same color palette as the National Park Technology Center logo to give it a familiar feel to the college. I also put in a mouse to represent graphic design which is the course I take at National Park College.

Kuhs logo, This was a design made for a local radio station. They were shown to the radio station to see which logo fit KUHS best. I enjoyed the project although it was a bit difficult to make the cord work right in the design. I had to make two of the same design with one being in color and the other in black and white. It required the radio station name and the station number implemented into the logo so this is how I decided to make it. The logo was designed completely on Illustrator.

Halloween Design ,

We made a design for Halloween to be used on candy bags as a fundraiser. After designing them, the best ones were chosen to be used as labels for the bags. It was a pretty simple project but fun to make. This project was created in Photoshop. It was folded in half after printing to be able to work on a candy bag as shown below which is why the full design has one side upside down.

Low Poly Illustration We did a design based on an animal of our choice then changed that animal into a low poly design by placing triangular shapes across the whole animal. I chose a fox as the animal for my Project. This was a long project that heavily used the eyedropper and pen tool which required some patience. This was completely made in Adobe Illustrator.

Mutant Animal Project , I really enjoyed doing this project which is where we chose whatever animals we wanted and mixed them together to make a mutant animal. It was made using the polygoanl lasso tool, burn and dodge tool, and the eraser tool on Photoshop. I chose a red panda and mixed with four animals which were a lion, caracal, rhino, and alligator. This was my first attempt at blending different images together so although it wasn’t perfect I still liked how it turned out

Principles Of Design, On this project, there were many steps to making this because first we had to get the items we were going to make the design out of. Afterwards we made the design on artboards in Illustrator. Next was to separate the designs into images which we moved over to photoshop. The last part was to make a poster on Photoshop with all the images collaborated together. It was a bit confusing for a couple of the principles although in the end I guess it worked out. I chose to make the principles around a rocket ship and space in general.

Pop Art Portrait

This was a design that our class made on color theory. We chose someone popular to make the design based off of. I chose to make my design based on Robert Downey Jr. because I enjoyed a couple of his movies. After making the Pop Art for the character I chose, then I made it into a poster design. This design was styled based on Andy Warhol’s famous Pop Art Portraits such as his Marilyn Monroe portrait.

My Graphic Life,

This was our first project made in Photoshop for Advertising and Graphic Design where we had to separate some designs we found into four categories which were Publication, Identity, Information and Advertising. After separating them into groups we wrote a description of each and made a design to go along with it. Although not much of a design, it shows the roots of where I started in Graphic Design.

Band Poster,

This is another project that I had fun making since we got to make a design for one of our favorite bands. My band choice was The Red Hot Chili Peppers. I put their logo on Illustrator then pen tooled it out. Afterwards I put a grunge texture on it to give a band poster style fitting for the band. We had to make it look believable so I gave it real information from one of their recent tours named the Lollapalooza Tour.
