Graphic design portfolio LarShea West


about me My name is LarShea West. I like to paint, draw and design. I go to Lake Hamilton high School and I am a current student at National Park Technology Center. I am in the Advertising and Design Program as well. I participated in SkillsUSA and won silver in state. From there I went to the SkillsUSA National Competetion. I wanted to create this show the progress that I have made over the past few months.

M.A.D.E. Objective To create a logo and poster for a summer music and art festival. This was the SkillsUSA State Competition Project. Note: It wasn’t a difficult task, it was just hard trying to figure out how I could represent the music and arts festival in a logo. o Adobe Illustrator o Wacom Tablet o Pencil o Paper o Colored Pencils

* I ended up making a new logo for this project because I felt like over the past year I’ve became a better designer, so I wanted to show that.


Personal Logo Objective To get inspiration and create a logo that represents ourselves as a graphic designer or a future business leader.

I wanted to re-design because I felt like I could’ve made this look way better. I also wanted make it more simplified.

Halloween card Objective To create a Halloween themed label for candy bags used for a SkillsUSA fund raiser. o Adobe Illustrator o Adobe Photoshop


I wanted to create something that was a cute and funny saying.


Typography Objective To achieve the goal to use grids in Photoshop and align a word in a repetitive way. o Adobe Photoshop I chose to choose the word peace because I wanted something graceful and motivating.



KUHS Logo Objective To design a new and modern logo for a non-profit community radio station. o Adobe Photoshop o Adobe Illustrator o Wacom Tablet o Paper o Pencil

My solution to this project was to cut down the gloss and to make something more clean and simple.
