In this project, we were asked to design a poster for any band real or fake. I used my own band title that I thought would encourage creativity and create a very unique design. I used my knowledge of Illustrator and the different tools and created a poster that encaptured the elements of this bizarre and colorful band.
In this project, I was asked to pick an animal and make a “poly of it. I decided on the sloth, because there were different colors and would work well with the flow of the geometric shapes. I also included the pole to add depth and texture to the image.

We were asked to find a photo, and draw on it, making it an entire new piece of ar twork. I had found this photo of myself that I had taken over the summer and I decided to add more color and personality to it. I did this by adding a delicate outline to my face, as well as a bold and bright quote that describes me.
Perso nal logo In this project, we were asked to design a project that described our own ar tistic styles that we could apply to our stationary, merchandise, or website. I chose a simplistic design that was bold and bright. I used Adobe Illustrator to carry out this design and included a retro pattern.

I then took different aspects from the photo and incorporated them in the rest of the work through text, color, patterns, or other photos.

This project required us to use “various elements of design to create a series of different illustrations that represented the principles of design, while keeping to a theme. In this project, I used the film, Roman Holiday as inspiration. I incorporated various elements that illustrated the vintage feel of the movie. This included newspaper clippings, grain effects, and a retro color palette.

A local radio station changed their frequency and needed a new logo to represent their music. When I listened to their radio and looked at their website, I got a feel for who they were as a business. In my designs, I wanted to do something bold and classic. I used the cassette and radio in my designs because they are such musical staples throughout the modern music age while showing a retro and local vibe.
