Project: Photoshop Nursery Rhyme

Brief: The assignment was to select nursery rhyme and create a visual representa9on of it in a nontradi9onal style. Using Photoshop Mary Mary Quite Contrary was selected and created in a grunge mixed media style. Different elements were put together including but not limited to: a graveyard, a young girl, flowers, a rosary, and newspaper clippings. They all had a drop shadow added to give it a more 3d and real feel.

Project: Halloween Monster Illustrator

Brief: The assignment was to create a simple monster in Adobe Illustrator performing an ac9on. I used watercolor brushes to create the background, and a chalk brush to outline his body and create the X.

Project: Winters’ Break Photoshop

Brief: The assignment was to create a visual representa9on of our winter’s break. The above image is meant to illustrate the experience of having your wisdom teeth removed. The background image of a den9st’s office was selected and then had a Photoshop filter applied to had a general feeling of unrest. A human face was dissected and then place on top of a skull to add to the creepy feeling. Bloody teeth were then cut out using the lasso tool and placed on the shelf in the back corner.

Project: Carnival Poster Illustrator

Brief: The assignment was to create a poster for an upcoming children’s carnival. In Photoshop I created the clown and balloons. I took the logo in the boKom right hand corner and removed its white background and saved it as a ping for later use.

Project: Zombie Parade Poster PowerPoint

Brief: The assignment was to create an event poster for an upcoming “zombie parade”. Selected 2 fonts in a classic horror style and downloaded them from dafont.com. When they were incorporated with black and white images they accomplish the goal of fun-‐spooky.

Project: Self Portrait Illustrator

Brief: The assignment was to create a self portrait including abstract background. I took a photo of myself using a low resolu9on webcam. I opened the file in Illustrator and then traced the basic shapes of my face using primarily the pen tool. Once done I filled it with gradients close to my skin, hair, and eye tones, and then added minor details.

I choose different fonts to represent the different Heroes.
