Project: Photoshop Nursery Rhyme
Brief: The assignment was to select nursery rhyme and create a visual representa9on of it in a nontradi9onal style. Using Photoshop Mary Mary Quite Contrary was selected and created in a grunge mixed media style. Different elements were put together including but not limited to: a graveyard, a young girl, flowers, a rosary, and newspaper clippings. They all had a drop shadow added to give it a more 3d and real feel.
Project: Halloween Monster Illustrator
Brief: The assignment was to create a simple monster in Adobe Illustrator performing an ac9on. I used watercolor brushes to create the background, and a chalk brush to outline his body and create the X.
Project: Winters’ Break Photoshop
Brief: The assignment was to create a visual representa9on of our winter’s break. The above image is meant to illustrate the experience of having your wisdom teeth removed. The background image of a den9st’s office was selected and then had a Photoshop filter applied to had a general feeling of unrest. A human face was dissected and then place on top of a skull to add to the creepy feeling. Bloody teeth were then cut out using the lasso tool and placed on the shelf in the back corner.
Project: Carnival Poster Illustrator
Brief: The assignment was to create a poster for an upcoming children’s carnival. In Photoshop I created the clown and balloons. I took the logo in the boKom right hand corner and removed its white background and saved it as a ping for later use.
Project: Zombie Parade Poster PowerPoint
Brief: The assignment was to create an event poster for an upcoming “zombie parade”. Selected 2 fonts in a classic horror style and downloaded them from dafont.com. When they were incorporated with black and white images they accomplish the goal of fun-‐spooky.
Project: Self Portrait Illustrator
Brief: The assignment was to create a self portrait including abstract background. I took a photo of myself using a low resolu9on webcam. I opened the file in Illustrator and then traced the basic shapes of my face using primarily the pen tool. Once done I filled it with gradients close to my skin, hair, and eye tones, and then added minor details.

Heroes Brief: The assignment was to design a T-‐shirt for local group of women to run if for the Susan G. Coleman Race for the Cure. The theme was “Hope Runs On Heroes” I had to interrupt this theme and I choose to celebrate the everyday heroes who are affected by breast cancer. I choose different fonts to represent the different Heroes.
Project: Sea monster Illustrator
Brief: The assignment was to follow detailed instruc9on and create a duplicate of a given image. I followed the instruc9on and duplicated the image using the line tools, and merge tools.
Project: Typeface Illustrator
Brief: The assignment was to create an image using only the leKers in our name. Each leKer occupies its’ own text box for easy movement.
Project: History of Design Poster Illustrator
Brief: The assignment was to create a band poster with given informa9on that accurately portrayed an era of design. The above poster is a visual representa9on of the Art Deco Movement.
