The Dangers Of The Gray Storm! It was the middle of May. My day started out slow at school than turned into a nightmare. I feel asleep in first hour like I normally do. About five minutes after I closed my eyes I heard the teacher screaming out of nowhere. I looked around the room. Nothing. Nothing was wrong until I saw everyone leave the classroom. I heard a scream coming from outside, as if it was trying to make my ear’s bleed to death. The million mile an hour winds broke the glass window, only leaving the square window fame in its own place. I ran downstairs to get in a safer place so I wouldn’t get my head pulled off by this big, mean monster! Knowing everyone was safe downstairs, I worried about my family. I thought to myself, “What if they didn’t make it down in the basement”? My mind went blank, Like a blank piece of paper getting tossed into the trash can. My classmates heard the roaring winds as they pushed us up against the cold, shaking walls. Sitting like a pretzel, looking like an Indian but only without the Indian music that we make with our mouths, and with your bare hands over your head, you’d be lucky if you didn’t get sucked into the eye of this dangerous demon. The dust flew into our eyes making it impossible for us to see if everyone was okay or not. Book shelves falling and some flying in midair, like bats hovering over an empty chimney that no one ever uses. By the time the monster was over and pasted over us, the cops showed up with their loud sirens, and flashing bright lights. They shined a big, huge, bright light at us and told us not to move just relax. About five minutes later we where all out of that prison looking school. Thank god, no one was hurt. -Courtney Mattes
