In this magazine you will find first person stories about these extraordinary weather systems such as Indiana Weather in general, Hurricanes, Blizzards, Tornadoes, and Monsoons. The reason we did this was to show the world that hurricanes and everything else can happen anywhere anytime. We have learned how to prepare, notice these amazing things happen. We also learned how to hide ad bunker down and wait it out. Indiana Weather: It is important because, we live in indiana and we should no were are weather comes from and to be able to tell when and were it accuser. Tornadoes: the individual topics are important because you can learn from them if this ever happens so when it does you will know what to do Monsoons: The individual topic is important because you should know what to do and how to do it i case if a monsoon Hurricane: If a hurricane happens in Indiana ( which i don’t think that would happen) you need to know what to do Blizzard: If a blizzard hits Indiana likely to happen there would be a giant temperature drop then the power would be out you need to know what to do if theres happens

I went to Indiana for a year on vacation, my name is Rupert and I'm a scientist It was quit interesting. Im going to tell you a brief story on my stay about the weather. The first thing that happened to me in summer, I was in my car going to lake michigan passing big farm fields and I saw some weird looking cloud. I then saw a funnel coming down and then I new it was a tornado stopped the car and drove the other way. I saw piece flying threw the air the little town was destroyed. The middle of winter I was out side the snow was so small it was almost impossible to see with the human eye. Then out of nowhere not in a blink of an eye all you see is huge dense snow flakes falling. About ten minutes in to the snow fall a blizzard was string you couldn't see more then two feet in front of you. My face was so cold I thought I had icicles hang from nose, my eyelashes and any other hair on my head was frosted. This wasn't in Indiana but this was Arizona in May, This huge monsoon appeared around 4:30 p.m. , It was horrible to see all the damage all the
folding and the death. That was the worst weather in Indiana but we had a few thunder storms average weather. Some thunder storms come from different ares of the world. The action of warm air rising and cold air sinking convection plays a key role in the formation of severe thunderstorms. If the warm surface air is forced to rise, it will continue to rise, because it is less dense than the surrounding air. It will transfer heat from the land to upper levels of the atmosphere through the process of convection. Two of the most important ingredients for thunderstorm formation are instability unstable air and moisture.
Spring - 51 - 71 - it stays of and on of cold air fronts blowing air torrid us. Summer - 82 - 84 - A huge heat wave comes over us and blows on us. Fall -78 - 52 - it stays of and on of cold air fronts blowing air torrid us. Winter - is 39 - 40 - air fronts bring arctic air over us.

How lake effect snow is caused and were in indiana it comes from. Indians lake effect snow it comes from Lake Michigan. It occurs because the lake is big enough to do this. Lake effect snow forms in the winter when cold air masses move over warmer lake waters.  As the warm lake water heats the bottom layer of air lake moisture evaporates into the cold air. Since warm air is lighter and less dense than cold air, it rises and begins to cool. The moisture that evaporates into the air condenses and forms clouds, and snow begins falling.Â
Weather that can cause flooding in are state . 1.Sever storms. 2.Spring thaw. 3. Heavy raining. 4. Thunder storms Interesting thing that happen in Indiana weather. 1. Thunderstorms. 2. Tornados. 3. Ice storms. 4. lake snow effects.
5. Hurricane from Katrina. 6. Blizzards.

tornados
By Mason Rufo
! Did you know on average there is about 436 tornadoes in indiana
[6]
TORNADOES A tornado is a violent rotating column of air coming from a thunderstorm to the ground. the most violent tornados can inflict a lot of destruction with wind speeds of up to 300 mph.
Where they occur most Most tornados occur in Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, eastern Colorado and western Iowa. That is where most tornado happen cause that is where tornado valley.
How tornados form Most tornadoes form from thunderstorms. You need warm, moist air from the Gulf of Mexico and cool, dry air from Canada. When the two air masses meet, they create instability in the atmosphere. Which then the wind direction changes the tornado forms and slowly comes down from the air
Witness story I was just playing basketball at the park when the sky went black. I thought to my self that is will just go away in a little. I kept playing basketball when is started to get really windy and started to rain hard. The sky was turning different colors. I started to walk home when I heard the tornado sirens. I ran home when out of no were I saw the start of a funnel cloud then I went home and no one
was home. I ran down to the basement. Thats when the tornado came down and ripped the town apart with hits howling winds. The sirens stop and i waited for like 5 minutes. When got outside to see the damage was unreal. There was flipped over cars and tipped over trees. There was destroyed houses and down power lines.
This tornado is a f- 3

Blizzards are a server weather storm that has very low visibility and is recommended not to drive in
