NEW FOR 2014
As with all NS products, the Fuzz has been built to provide the best race-day performance combined with everyday usability and reliability. The Fuzz is a true DH machine built to compete with the best in the pits, yet it is still a modern do-it-all rig for any gravity assisted riding. The frame has been raced throughout the whole 2013 season by our specially a signed R&D team, thrashed by one of the most vicious freeriders Jaws, and then flipped and whipped by the #1 freestyle rider in the world - Sam Pilgrim. Geometry: The frame has truly modern DH geometry - it’s low, slack, and has a very short rear end with a roomy front triangle. Thanks to the adjustable dropouts you can set up the bike with a super tight rear end or you can fit the wheel in a more standard position to suit the characteristics for any track and riding style. The short position results in one of the tightest rear ends on the market. Thanks to this we could really open up the front end and benefit from massive stability and confidence improvements, yet still keep the wheelbase (hence maneuverability) under control. Suspension: the Fuzz has a clearly progressive leverage ratio curve. The first stage of the travel is very supple and absorbs small and medium impacts. Towards the end of the travel, the frame becomes stiffer, and gives the rider a feeling of support, which results in predictable launches off jump lips and other obstacles that require getting air to clear. It’s important to note that the characteristics are different on the short and long setting with a noticeably softer and less progressive feel in the long setting. Kinematics: the 4-bar Horst link suspension has a significant amount of rearward axle movement which helps to absorb square faced bumps. The system, unlike most other designs on the market (including virtual pivot designs) it is immune to brake jack (i.e. the torque generated by the brakes will not cause the suspension to stiffen). There is also a fair amount of anti-squat built into the design to counter pedal induced bob. The shock, which is the most heavy part of the frame is tucked away near the BB to keep the center of gravity as low as possible.

SODA SLOPE The Soda Slope is a radical bike for big moves that takes over where dirt jumping hardtails are not enough. It’s most important feature is that it enables true single speed setups with no chain tensioners or standard derailleur / single front ring setups. The Slope is exceptionally nimble and manoeuvrable with one of the shortest chain stays we have ever seen on production full suspension bikes. It was designed to feel just like a Majesty dirtjump frame but with a safety valve in the rear end for big hits and high speed runs. SODA
SODA If you want one bike to ride everything, but above all value manoeuvrability and a compact, playful feel then the Soda should be your choice. With super short chain stays it just loves to be thrown around and you will immediately feel the difference compared to other “normal” bikes. Works best for big air, bike parks and DH, but still can climb anything. Big bearings, rigid tubes and burly CNC parts make it exceptionally durable. And because both travel and chain stay length are adjustable, it has huge tuning potential.
The Soda 1 has coil spring suspension making it the best choice for riders who are mainly focused on gravity riding, however high end components keep the weight at bay, making this a true all-rounder. SODA SLOPE A radical new-school slopestyle bike. The heart of the bike is our new frame with custom formed tubes, big sealed bearings and tasty CNC features throughout. The concentric BB pivot system allows for a single speed setup for jumps but the bike can also be used with a derailleur for freeriding. With some of the shortest chain stays we have ever seen on production full suspension bikes, the Soda Slope will feel just like a proper dirt jump bike but with a additional safety valve for big hits and high speed runs.

CLASH JR
The Clash JR is a scaled-down version of Clash, specifically designed for smaller riders of about 135 - 150 cm. It’s a true all-round fun bike built around a tough and light alloy frame. Perfect for kids who always want to go fast on any kind of terrain. We decided to use a proper “grown-up” 100mm travel suspension fork simply because it works better than any 24” kid’s fork. However the bike is designed so that the additional height of the fork does not hamper the riding position. We packed in a good selection of parts and now, smaller and younger riders can finally get a taste of what an NS feels like.
The Metropolis 1 features loads of great parts mounted on a multi-butted NS cromoly frame. We spec’d our FMB tour winning Proof handlebars, new Quantum stem, fast rolling Kenda Small Block 8 tires, sealed bearing hubs front and rear, a microdrive 25:11 drive-train, Avid hydraulic rear brake. The Metropolis 1 comes with the amazing Rock Shox Argyle fork.

The Metropolis 2 is built on a beautiful full-cromoly NS frame with a mid-BB and integrated headset, and is fitted with a complete NS cockpit, a Marzocchi DJ3 fork and our our own custom NS rims. The compact drivetrain includes an 11T sealed bearing driver hub from Octane One.
The Metropolis 3 is built on a solid NS frame and fitted with high end NS aftermarket parts. Our aim was to make a bike accessible to everyone and offer 100% of the function that high end bikes have, with the only compromise being slightly higher weight. There are no “do-not-jump” warning stickers on this bike!

SAM PILGRIM The Metropolis is a dedicated dirt jumping bike. You can take it straight out of the box and head to Mellowpark to practice your 360 nosedives, or even go for a big backflip at a Crankworx event. If you are not planning to go so far, hit the streets and practice some off-the-bank tailwhips. The bike is ready for this kind of stuff because it has all the features of a modern pro-level dirt bike. The geometry and parts have been chosen by our top riders, therefore the build is significantly different than what you normally find in “corporate” bikes.
The heart of this 650B hardtail is a high-end cromoly frame built using Tange Eccentric tubes that have been developed over the years for our dirt-jump bikes. The Majesty has been on the podium at world class dirt and slopestyle events more often than any other frame in the world. Ideal for dirt jumping, 4X and pump tracks. We know that steel is great but many riders simply prefer the looks and feel of big rigid tubes. MAGNETO
A completely new stem for 2014, the Magneto features an astonishing minimalistic design that looks unlike anything else on the market. Everything in this stem is out of the ordinary: an integrated top cap, a wedge steer tube clamping system and a two piece sandwich design. At the same time we made sure that user friendliness has not been sacrificed (including knee friendliness thanks to the smooth and round steertube clamping area). Cold forged from quality AL 6061 T6 in our own moulds before going into the extensive CNC. Perfect for Fre-
eride/Enduro use, strong enough to take a hard beating and light enough for racing. It features a high surface wedge design that locks the stem on the steer tube securely and has a build in wedge release screw. The installation procedure and cutting of the steertube to fit the stem is a piece-of-cake (most other stems with this system have an complicated installation procedures that requires blind cutting of the steertube). QUANTUM
The high-end Quantum Pro is available in 25.4 and 31.8 sizes. The small bar bore version is 37mm following requests from dirt jump riders. The oversized version is 45mm length making it perfect length for Freeride/Enduro use. The Quantum is cold forged from quality AL6061 T6 in our own moulds before going
into the CNC department. The short reach comparing to most stems on the market and zero degree rise makes it the perfect stem for new school riding. It has a knee friendly steerer tube clamping design and a ‘No gap’ clamping system gives a unique smooth look.

Evidence Plus is designed for downhill, freeride and slopestyle. Manufactured from the same 7050 alloy as the NS Proof with very high fatigue resistance. We created a totally custom tube with super long tapers and smooth butting to avoid stress points - in fact you can see the difference in the shape at a first glance. Evidence Lite is the next generation of our low-rise bar designed for Enduro but will also work well as a DH bar for smaller riders. Proof handlebars are a favourite among top FMB riders - among them off course is Sam Pilgrim. High, wide, and manufactured from a special 7050 alloy material for great strength and fatigue resistance. With the new-school relaxed geometry, the Proof is really comfortable and looks rather special. Totally custom tubing and butting results in a strong & light bar with a special shape that is visible at the first glance. Perfect bars for dirt jumpers who use suspension forks, and the choice of most of the NS team riders. Clamp: 25.4 mm
District bars are high and wide, making them a perfect fit for street bikes that are usually built around low rigid forks, low head tubes, low integrated headsets and drop bmx stems. Even if the bar is really wide its completely comfortable with the big backsweep. This bar really rules, especially for use with rigid forks! To make the Districts, we start by buying the very best Japanese 4130 cromoly that is available on the market. Next, the bars go through a complex process of multiple butting and shaping. After that the bars go through a carefully controlled heat treating process. Clamp 22.2 mm (incl. shims for 25.4 mm)
Mint. A dirt-specific handlebar, similar to the Proof, but with a lower price. It’s one of the most popular choices of riders searching for aftermarket upgrades but also over the years, the Mint has “proved” it is no less reliable than the Proof in thousands of NS complete bikes. The Fundamental rim is a made from high quality 6061 heat-treated alloy and has a pinned-joint. The really wide and low profile is designed especially for freestyle mountain bikes. Perfect for dirt / street / slopestyle / freeride. By carefully designing the wall thickness distribution it was possible to make a strong and light rim with no eyelets. ENIGMA
The Enigma rim is a new high-end 26” rim - made of superalloy material with a special heat-treatment procedure. Lightweight but extremely strong and way more stiff than standard alloys used in most rims. A sleeved connection results in a strong and impact resistant rim and also saves weight due to the specific rim profile. The 2014 Enigma rims are 31mm wide and 22mm high, and are a perfect choice for all heavy duty MTB applications - including DH, Dirt Jumping, Enduro and heavy-duty Freeride. Another feature is the high-end graphic application technique that makes these rims stand out. Available in 26” size only in two drilling options: 32h & 36h. Wide, pressure resistant NS rim tape completes the package.
We really like these pedals. Great function and nice to look at. A simple but refined design. No gimmicks. Reliable. Oh yeah - very light as well - just over 395g. We are glad that we achieved this great weight without using a magnesium body or titanium axle as both these options are very expensive and make the pedals weaker. We simply had to do it for you.
