Election Update

Romney Widens Lead After Big Win In NH

BY ANTHONY HARRIS ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT EDITOR

For all the flaws of the 24/7 election season that has developed in recent years – and there are plenty – there is no doubt that it makes for a highly entertaining political yarn. Consider the race for the Republican presidential nomination, now in its tenth month. Watching the campaign progress through its various stages has been fascinating. First it was the rampant “will they/won’t they” media speculation on figures ranging from Donald Trump to Chris Christie, then came the instant hoopla when each new candidate threw their hat into the ring, and of course the endless procession of debates with all of their priceless moments, from Rick Perry’s ill-timed brain freeze to Mitt Romney’s uncharacteristi-

A few new computers will be available for student and faculty use in Maude Hall as well.

In accordance with a provision of the federal Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA) of 2008, NSCC has implemented an online Net Price Calculator, a tool that will help students estimate eligibility for financial aid and out-of-pocket expenses. Best of all, it demonstrates just how affordable an NSCC education can be. The calculator is a great planning tool. It provides an early indication of how much and what types of financial aid you might qualify for as a new student attending school fulltime in the academic year indicated. Younger students and their parents can also use it to learn about college costs and
