The Avataṃsaka Sūtra (अवतंसकसूत्र) in its actual Sanskrit and alternative title is the “बुद्धवतंसकोनाम महावैपुल्यसूत्रम्।” “Buddhavataṁsako Nāma Mahāvaipulyasūtram”.In Chinese, it is called: Dàfāngguǎng Fóhuáyán Jīng (Chinese: 大方廣佛華嚴經)In Tibetan, ༄༅། །སངས་རྒྱས་ཕལ་པོ་ཆེ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ཤིན་ཏུ་རྒྱས་པ་ཆེན་པོའི་མདོ།. (Wylie: sangs rgyas phal po che zhes bya ba shin tu rgyas pa chen po’i mdo/). Commonly known as title remainder in short: མདོ་ཕལ་པོ་ཆེ། (mdo phal po che) Or ཕལ་ཆེན། (phal chen)
