Mapping the Territory for a Knowledge-Based System Source: Ulrich Schmitt, Conference on Computational Collective Intelligence Technologies and Applications 2017

This conference paper about Knowledge Management (KM) attempts to address the lack of effective tools for “for selecting, structuring, personalizing, and making sense of digital resources” available under existing KM frameworks. The paper suggests that a new way to “visualize the Personal and Organizational Knowledge Spaces” using “computer-based methods of collective intelligence to provide a visual meta-perspective” is needed, and explains how they developed this novel concept.
