Your charitable gift is excluded from your assets for estate tax purposes. n

A bequest can take various forms. You and your advisor may utilize the following sample language for an outright bequest or distribution: I give, devise and bequeath (describe dollar amount, property to be given, or proportion of residuary estate) to North Texas Community Foundation, a nonprofit corporation located in Fort Worth, TX, EIN 75-2267767.
