This is an exciting opportunity for every associate to embark on a fun learning journey! Choose from over 30 different classes covering a wide range of subjects —and you get paid for it, too! The classes offer everything from personal and professional growth opportunities to field trips and “how-to” food classes. Top leaders from our company, as well as select partners, have come together to offer a wide variety of courses and subjects to satisfy any interest.
We’re excited to announce that our 9 th Return to Learn event will be taking place over two separate weeks: Monday, April 21—Friday, April 25, and Monday, May 12—Friday, May 16. This is an excellent opportunity for associates to learn about the “why” behind what we do here at Nugget Market, Inc.
You’re encouraged to browse the course catalog, read the brief summaries of each class, and then select the classes that interest you most. Classes should fit within your availability. To accommodate the wants and needs of every associate, we ask that you select your top three choices. Be sure to mark down the course number (class code), as each session has a unique code. We’ll do our best to ensure that every associate is assigned to one of their top choices.
It’s okay to hurry! The sign-up period begins Monday, March 24, and ends on Thursday, April 3, during which time you will have the opportunity to log into a store desktop or tablet using your associate number and phone number. Once logged in, you can select your top three classes which are organized into a drop-down menu by class code number. You have 11 days to sign up, and classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis—so don’t wait!
We’re very excited to be able to provide this unique opportunity to our associates, and all our instructors are looking forward to sharing their knowledge with you.
Please note: Classes are scheduled shifts! Keep in mind our global expectation to communicate to your store leader if you are unable to attend your class once scheduled. This event is for associates only, other guests will not be permitted to attend.

Mike will also be reviewing pertinent ABC regulations and Nugget Market’s wine-related policies, including returns, discounts, and tastings.
