the stonehenge apartment Student Apartment with Biophilic Design | Semarang, Indonesia 2018 | Final Project (Grade : A)
Exterior Perspective : The stonehenge apartment with surrounding
Description and Context Semarang city is the best city for investment in Indonesia. As cities continue to grow the availability of living space becomes a seemingly never-ending issue. The Increasing number of college students in UNDIP area cause density problem and decreasing green area. Because of that students hardly fulfill their living need in UNDIP area. Student Apartment in UNDIP area is the best way to overcome density problem.
Project Student apartment with ‘restoring life’ concept means that the apartment can bring back joy and refreshment to the resident. This concept come from Biophilic Design theory which focuses on the relationship between man and nature. This apartment is designed in 3122 m2 land with capacity until 2000 students for 1140 units room.

Office and Showroom| Jakarta, Indonesia 2017 | Academic Project (Best Studio Thematic Project)
Description and Context Jakarta is the capital of Indonesia where all big companies have offices there and one of them is Microsoft. In this scenario, Microsoft plans to build its own building that will function as an office for Microsoft and showroom for its software and hardware. This plan is one of Microsoft’s mission to ‘empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more
Project The concept of Microsoft office and showroom is started with three words that are Metamorphosis, Vitreous (Transparant), and Eco-friendly. The building is divided primarily into a public area, accessible to anyone and private area that can only be accessed by employees. With futuristic atmosphere within building make this design standout compared to other building around. Overall, this building’s design is very different from the surroundings, making it more eye-catching, extraordinary and has its own characteristics.

pogung [studentsity] Student Settlement Area | Yogyakarta, Indonesia 2018 | Competition Entry | Concept
Description and Context
Project
In Indonesia, a developing country with staggering 200 million people, education is big business as everyone thrives to get the best education possible. Therefore, an Indonesian-style student city would be full of students coming from all over the country, being separated from town’s development.
Biophilic design as an integrated design method of man-made and natural environment may be a potential solution for Yogyakarta. The design interventions would bring the packed and isolated community alive as it encourages people to interact with their environment, reducing their stress and mental burden process Through gradual implementation of biophilic design and rearrangement. Pogung may become a dynamic and humane student settlement area albeit its density.
A student city, filled with educated people should be comfortable place to study and stay. However in Yogyakarta, Indonesia’s most renowned student city with more than 35000 new students coming each year, the existing facilities are not in sync with this ever increasing number. Student city becomes stress-inducing instead of stress-reducing.

Architecture Intervention The first design intervention is focused on giving much-needed air flow and natural view, so the view can encourage the students to look out and interact with other people or with the nature. The second intervention is creating a common activity space designed to support co working and discussion. Another building typology that is needed within the site is parking buildings as a response to many illegal parking.

jakarta one cityhub tower Mix use building | Jakarta, Indonesia 2018 | Competition (Best 25) | Concept, 3D modelling, Post Rendering
Exterior Perspective : Jakarta One CityHub Tower in Jakarta cityscape
Description and Context
Project
The lack of awareness of urban density’s negative effects has made Jakarta even worse. High density is currently making urban mobilization less controllable and also brings up perturbing water issues. This has had a negative impact on the life quality of many Jakartans living in downtown slum areas. nearly to its prime function as a river. Ciliwung, an iconic river of Jakarta that was known for its horrible polluted waters, was actually a source of living for hundreds of its inhabitants and also contains historical values
We propose and design JOCH Tower, a mixed uses building that will make a good symbiosis with Ciliwung environment by decreasing the pollution and using the water in a sustainable way. JOCH Tower is meant to be not only a connector within the city but also as an Interregional hub and even an International one. By the Tower, people will be connected to many supporting facilities such as transportation, hospitality, residential, and the river itself which is lies along the city

omah selasar House in urban area | Surabaya, Indonesia 2017 | Competition (2nd winner) | concept, 3D modelling
Aerial perspective of Omah Selasar
Description and Context
Project
As cities continue to grow, the availability of living space becomes a seemingly never-ending issue. Living small or compact may no longer be a choice or a lifestyle but rather than necessity.
Omah Selasar is a response to the ever-changing needs of the urban family as they grow and age on a relatively small land.
Constrain of space or cost creates a great challenge, but also great opportunity to design homes that are functional yet livable, enabling a pack between civilization and nature, also society and solitude.
By creating multifunctional rooms, expandable space, also connecting indoor and outdoor space, the house is expected to form a ‘space within a space’, enabling more activities to occur beyond the boundaries of living, social, and green areas.

Description and Context
Project
The University of Indonesia has plans to build an Advanced Laboratory that functions as a laboratory center at the university. The site is close to the lake and Archive Building. The University of Indonesia requested that the concept of green architecture is applied to the design where building design can adapt to the local climate and save energy use in it.
In its design, Advanced Lab UI is a masterplan consists of several building functions and future opment/expansion plans. The functions of the ings in the masterplan are Laboratory, Office, torium, Parking Building, Canteen, and Green
