I co-started a small architectural practice focussed on cost-effective and low-energy buildings to gain onsite experience and to implement the business knowledge acquired through the Yuzz program. In addition to the day-to-day running and promoting of the business, my main architectural responsibilities were: design concepts to meet the client’s requirements, construction drawings, 3D visualisation, and M&E design.
I was in charge of a wide portfolio of residential buildings that ranged from one-off houses in the New Forest to a student accommodation building in London. I familiarised myself with the UK Building Regulation and the Planning Application process.

I worked on a wide range of large scale international projects that include a sustainable residential building in Masdar, Masterplans in Mexico, China and Colombia, mixed-use and educational buildings in Bogotá (Proscenio project) and office buildings in Canada and Spain (City of Justice). I lead a team of 4 people and coordinated with consultants, clients and suppliers whilst working as Project Architect for the Saqqara residential towers in Monterrey.
