Laia Mulet worked at Foster+Partners for 5 years from 2007 to 2012. During this period Laia worked on a broad range of project types and scales in various locations around the world.

Having arrived as an intern through our agreement with Arquia, the Architects’ foundation in Spain, Laia soon qualified as an architect and furthered her career as an architect working on numerous masterplans and architectural projects of including all the stages from brief analysis through to presentation and construction details, including:

AP and TSP, City of Justice, Madrid

Faisaliah 2, Riyadh

Kingdom Tower, Jeddah

Masdar, Abu Dhabi

Tripoli Marina, Tripoli

Domus, Valencia

Proscenio, Bogota

San Pedro, Monterrey

Shaw, Calgary

Beijing CBD, Beijing

Laia consistently demonstrated a deep sense of responsibility and attention to detail and her contribution was always a source of inspiration to her colleagues.

Laia is a personable individual who established a great rapport with consultants and clients. She is consistently rigorous in her approach to the architectural design process and combines a great sensitivity for architecture and design with a thirst for knowledge which added an edge to her projects during her time at Foster+Partners.

In addition to these strengths, Laia demonstrated deep human qualities and made great friendships in the practice who would be delighted to have the opportunity of working together with her again. We wish Laia much success in her professional career in the certainty that she will continue to build on her experience with conscientious effort and creativity.
