Cozy Porridge Wanna feel cozy during your cold winters or hot summers, whether it may be for a 8th month baby or 70 year old. Sathu Porridge is the tick. In a bowl of 200ml water or milk add 2tbs of Sathumaavu and mix well. Cook on very low flame till it is soft (3-4mins). Add any tastener & enjoy.
Delicious Laddoo You'll be surprised at how conveniently you can make delicious & nutrient rich laddoos at home.

In a large pan add ghee and heat till it melts.

Add Sathumaavu and slow roast for about 20-25mins on very low flame.

Rest the roasted flour till it is cool and soft.

Add Jaggery powder or honey and mix well.

Roll into laddoos and store the laddoos in air tight container.
2 cups of Sathumaavu 2 cups of Jaggery or Honey 2 cups of Homemade Ghee

Ingredients

Add Sathumaavu and Urad dal batter in a deep bowl.

Mix well without lumps and keep aside for about 8 hrs.

You can skip this step by adding sour curd and make instant dosa.

Add salt to taste and pour as normal dosa topping up with ghee or oil.

Roast on both sides till light brown and serve with a chutney.
2 cups of Sathumaavu 1 cup of Urad dal batter Salt to taste Oil for top.
Nutrilicious Pancakes In a bowl add 1 cup of Sathumaavu and add 1 cup of banana puree or milk or buttermill or 2 eggs. Mix well without lumps into thick batter. Add jaggery or Salt as per your taste and heat the tawa. On a low flame pour the batter and do not spread it. Add ghee and cover with a lid. Cook for 2 mins and flip, cook for 2mins and serve with Jam or Honey.
