Submittals 1. Project Admins manage and coordinate responses to Submittals in their project team. Project Admins define the Submittals Managers and Responsible Contractors for their project. 2. Manager creates a new Submittal Item and assigns to the Responsible Contractor. Submittal status is REQUIRED. 3. Responsible Contractor receives the Submittal Item, adds information, uploads required documents and submits back to the Manager. Status changed to OPEN.
4. Manager reviews the information and ensures all requirements are addressed. 5. Manager creates a Submittal Package to group the Submittal Items, and submits the package to the Reviewer (for an official review). 6. Reviewer receives the Submittal Package and starts to review the associated Submittal Items. The Reviewer can markup attached documents and add comments, assign to a different reviewer, or ask for additional response/review from co-reviewers (for example, engineers, consultants).
7. For each Submittal Item, the Reviewer sets the official response and documents. Once all Submittal Items are reviewed, Reviewer submits the Submittal Package back to the Manager. 8. Manager reviews the official response and submits to the Responsible Contractor. Status changed to CLOSED. If not all Submittal Items are approved, the Reviewer can create a new revision.
