How it works EXEMPTION MANAGEMENT Nuvei’s proprietary platform ensures a friction-free checkout process by identifying possible exemptions - such as low-risk and low-value transactions, recurring transactions, inter-regional payments where parties aren’t based in Europe, and telephone orders - and triggering 3DS2 authentication only when necessary. In cases of technical errors and soft declines, 3DS1 fallback prevents drops in conversion rate. CONVERSION OPTIMIZATION Dynamic 3DS routing combined with our unique position as an acquirer with our own proprietary, acquireragnostic 3DS2 MPI (merchant plug-in) has been proven to be highly effective in recovering soft declines, we’ve been able to save up to 60% of soft declines.
