The Sun Bros published their first two comic books—Chinatown and Apocalypse Man—through a tremendously successful Kickstarter campaign, bringing in over $25,000 from more than 600 backers in just 31 days. Now their books are featured at comic conventions and on the shelves of bookstores and comic shops throughout Chicagoland, and they continue to receive online orders for their books every week. But how did they do it? From building a fanbase through social media to shooting the Kickstarter video to actually securing the funds you need—crowdfunding is a new, exciting, and multi-faceted way to get your comics in print. Join Wesley Sun from Sun Bros Studios for an interactive panel discussion to find out more about their current Kickstarer campaign for Monkey Fist and learn how to get your own work out there!
