Mass migration can be caused by lack of food or resources, violence, and climate change. Throughout this migration process, refugees face many hardships, from becoming victims of fraud, lack of housing, lack of food, climate and geography hardships, to cramped conditions as they travel, etc. The list can go on and on, the question I pose is how can architecture or architects help aid refugees as they travel. It is intercepting smugglers to limit fraud, is it tackling the political aspects of a refugee crisis from an architects’ perspective?
