COLORS Blue is associated professionalism, precision, intellect, conscious, knowledge, power, integrity, and seriousness. Dark blues are strong and reliable. This blue is chosen to represent a professionalism, to ensure a feeling of trust for the user. The violet undertones harkens to violet's associations with ambition and creativity.

Orange is a vibrant color and increases oxygen supply to the brain, which produces an invigorating effect, and stimulates mental activity—aiding in the language-learning process. By using the complementary of blue, the colors are balanced in their intensity as well as provide visual balance in hierarchy/ information architecture.

The web version of this blue and orange are significantly more vibrant and intense.

Applications of Acumin Pro Acumin Pro Regular/Italics is mainly used as the body copy and certain prompts within the app. Stray away from using Acumin Pro for main headers/links. Acumin Pro is a legible type family that contains the breadth for most glyphs in the Latin alphabet. For certain Eastern European languages, some glyphs containing diacritical marks may be missing.

Applications of Univers Univers Extended Bold is only used in headers, subheaders and major links within the app design typically in all caps. Across branding collateral, this font should be the strongest and boldest typographic style. Univers offers a different feeling than Acumin Pro, contrasting it nicely with its extended weight, making the whole of the experience much more friendly and approachable. It also plays off of Acumin Pro's geometry and complements the typeface well.



PATTERN The pattern can be used as a major graphic element or as a soft background to print/web collateral. Scalable for large/small applications of the brand, the pattern acts as an accent to the main logo. Low opacity patterns should be 4% opacity in print and web as background to typography but can be pure pattern when next to large graphic type or imagery.
