040 Pre-College I

041 Pre-College II

Learn the basics of interior design, and complete a small residential design project. Learn to draft and understand floor plans, come up with a design concept, put together a color scheme, select furniture and materials, and visit showrooms and design offices. Pull it all together in the design of a NYC apartment.

Take your basic interior design knowledge to another level, and design a small cafĂŠ or hotel lobby. Visit design offices, meet professional designers, and gain an understanding of a more complex space. (040 Pre-College I is a prerequisite)

The two courses can be taken in one summer. No discount for two.

The Pre-College Program was such an intense experience. We covered a lot of ground in two weeks! Not only was it a great introduction to the interior design field, it was a great introduction to the College. After it was over I decided this was the career AND the school for me!
