& The Memories You Made Along the Way... I am grateful for every one that I meet and was able to work with, learn from, agree and disagree with. As Abraham Lincoln once said “We can learn from everyone. Even if it’s not what to do.” Thanks to MY APUG advisors, Ramy Ebied, I learned that it’s okay not to be okay. From Amanda Holda, I learn that it’s okay to take a break. From Erica Rodriguez, I learned the power of effective guidance with regards to academic planning. From Faculty members like Dr. Schick I learned that it’s okay to remain religious, straight forward and assertive regardless of the noise and challenges around. Dr. Melzi made feel heard, understood and welcomed from the very beginning while I was undergoing imposter syndrome. Brian, assisted me to the best of his ability for me to finish my courses in good shape. Dr. Mary Brabeck thaught me to love my children no matter what, to always reinforce the reward system and to take care of myself. Dr. Josh Aronson, thaught me how to take my power back and to put my family first. Everyone at APUG thaught me something new directly and indirectly and I intend to use all these new information and experiences to help uplift and advocate others and myself especially, the less fortunate.
