Almost every patient who walks through the doors of Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital requires diagnostic imaging (DI) of some sort. The use of diagnostic imaging technology is one of the greatest advances in medicine, enabling physicians to diagnose and treat their patients safely and rapidly. Whether it is a pregnant woman requiring pre-natal ultrasound scans or a senior being monitored after suffering heart failure, the first step to recovery is the discovery that something is wrong. Medical equipment, however, has a finite
lifespan and current DI technology at OTMH is approaching its end of useful life. Over the next few years, more than $100 million in funding will be needed to support the priority needs of our hospital in areas such as diagnostic imaging, laboratory, surgery, and other key programs. We must ensure our healthcare teams at OTMH have the resources they require to respond to the needs of our community and enhance the delivery of care. Medical advancements are rapidly changing the way hospital care is delivered. By making crucial investments in
lifesaving equipment and best-in-class technology, our hospital will be able to keep pace with current innovations, leading practices and new models of care. Auction Details & Processes As part of this evening’s festivities, we invite you to participate in The Stakes online Silent auction featuring an incredible collection of exciting and unique items. SILENT AUCTION OPENING The bidding begins on June 1, 2022.
SILENT AUCTION CLOSING A ten-minute warning will be given prior to the silent auction closing. When the auction is closed, if you are the successful bidder, you will receive an SMS text and email confirming that you are the successful bidder. You can also check ‘MyBids’ on your phone. If you’ve won an item, please make your way to the cashier table located in the barn.
SILENT AUCTION CLOSING The auction will close at 9:45 p.m. on June 4, 2022. To see if you are the successful bidder check under ‘MyBids’ on your Givergy account. You will also receive a text and email. BIDDING Bidding on an item is easier than ever with our mobile bidding platform provided by Givergy. Browse and bid on items on your phone. Please refer to the ‘How to Bid’ document on the next page.
PAYMENT Once at the cashier table, we will have your personalized invoice ready for you. Payment for auction items is preferred night of, however, if you are unable to make payment you will have up to three business days to arrange payment of the item. A Foundation team member will follow up with you, after which, the item will be automatically be offered to the second successful bidder. Payment methods accepted: will be accepted as follows: Cash, Cheque, Debit, VISA, American Express or MasterCard or E-Transfer (ohfonline@haltonhealthcare.com). Starting the
week of June 6, 2022 items will be available for pick up or delivery. Electronic gift cards will be emailed.
