Letter from Our CEO Dear Friends, It is my pleasure to welcome you to Sunset Cinema @ Home. As we collectively adjust to this new way of doing things, this event is a way for our community to do things a little differently, while still enjoying a traditional family evening from the comfort of your living room. Registrants, fundraisers, donors and sponsors, we can’t thank you enough for your support. This year, funds raised will support our Emergency Department (ED). Every year, thousands of patients come through our ED doors to find the life-saving care and latest treatments they need right here in our community. With your support we can continue to provide exemplary patient care. So please, sit back, relax, and enjoy your movie. While you watch your film, know that your support is making a difference right here in Oakville. Sincerely,

M ARY M CPHERSON Chief Executive Officer Oakville Hospital Foundation

Your Impact Your participation and donations will help purchase vital sign monitors for the Emergency Department (ED) at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital (OTMH). This equipment monitors vitals such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and heart rate. Right now, our ED requires additional vital sign monitors in order to work in unconventional spaces and to trial new innovative ways to increase capacity and enable access to care. All of us at the Oakville Hospital are fiercely committed to providing the best care for every person who comes through our doors. We are very grateful to work in a community that shares our commitment.

How to Build a Blanket Fort for your movie night @ home! 1 . MOVE THIN GS A ROUND Re-arrange your furniture to make enough space for the fort. 2 . G ET CREATI V E Use what you have lying around the house. Bring out the coat rack, use clamps and clothes pins, and make use of duct tape. Use your Christmas lights or fairy lights and hang them around your fort to create an ethereal vibe. 3 . C R EAT E A CA N OPY Use lightweight sheets for the top of your fort, this will ensure that you won’t get too hot as you watch your movie. Heavy blankets can also weigh everything down and possibly cause your fort to collapse.
