The proccess: to give the resort a unique environment it had to be located in the midst of the forest to blend in with nature, this created a problem of accessibility, since driving in the forest to the resort wasn't so reliable. this terminal is 30 kilometers away from the resort and it's function is to recieve customers, store their cars and send them to the resort in electric cars for efficient environmentally friendly trip during which customers can admire nature other that watching the road worrying of getting stuck some where. An automated car park was adopted since that the conventional laytout had many disadvantages: - manouvering throughout the parking lot increases emmissions which contradicts with the philosophy of this design. - this site is remote, leaving the car outside exposes it to the elements.

UNIQUE FEAUTRES: 1- electricity is not needed in air conditioning thus saving a minimum of 2.0KWh per room = 12MW per day for the whole project. 2- Safety: to avoid the hazard of leakage; a pump free chiller is adopted (replaced by fluids pupmping each other due to thermodynamics) which enhances durability. and to increase it even more; other than passing air through the coils of the chiller directly, water is used to transfer the heat. 3- sun's heat is stored in water during the day to be used in night for air extraction and for running the refrigeration cycle

REMARKS 5- SUN RADIATION HEATS THE TERMAL MASS INSIDE THE GLASS COVERING TO HEAT AIR INSIDE THE TOWER WHICH THEN RISES PULLING AIR FROM THE SPACE BENEATH, AND THE CYCLE CONTINUES
ABSORPTION REFREGERATION IS ADOPTED 1 - WARMAIR IS DRAWN INTO THE INTAKE CHANNEL
3- COOL AIR EXCHANGES HEAT WITH THE EXHAUST AIR REDUCING IT'S TEMPERATURE EVEN MORE 4- AND THEN ENTERS THE HEAT EXCHANGER WITH THE CHILLED WATER COILS PRODUCING COLD AIR
THE REFRIGERANT IS THEN SEPARATED FROM WATER BY APPLYING HEAT CAUSING IT TO EVAPORATE, IT THEN FLOWS TO A CONDENSER WHERE IS EXCHANGES HEAT WITH THE OUTDOOR AIR, AND THE PASSESS TO AN EVAPORATOR TO EXCHANGE HEAT WITH COOLING WATER.
2- WARM AIR EXCHANGES HEAT WITH SUB SOIL; THUS REDUCING IT'S TEMPERATURE PRODUCING COOL AIR
THIS WATER THEN OPERATES AS A REFRIGERANT BY EXTRACTING HEAT FROM INCOMING OUTDOOR AIR. ADVANTAGES: NEEDS ONLY SOLAR HEAT TO OPERATE.

REMARKS DesignTheory: The idea here was to create a minimalist expression to help meditation and relaxation, that was accomplished by grouping elements of design into simple layouts to ease up for the user to percieve them. privacy: the pathway goes under the room to open up the view for it without compromising it's occupant's privacy. Environmental Solutions: the same technical solution for ventilation and air conditioning were adopted to this unit.

REMARKS NOTES: Since architecture isn't just about designing permenant buildings but more like designing systems of use, came the need for a solution for camping in the woods that didn't deteriorate the environment and was safe for the animals and humans as well. fold down toilet

FEATURES: 1- Small: which means less weight and then less fuel consumption. 2- Convertible interior: chairs turn into beds. and moving counter tops reveal the cook top. 3- convertible bathroom: to save up the space a careful study was done to determine the patterns of use, which resulted in designing a fold up toilet to save up the space above it for bathing, with an electronic washing splinkler to minimize water consumption. 4- No black water, the toilet is flushed using air vacuum wich sends waste to an incinerator that burns it producing ashes saving valuable weight and space. 5- clean drinking water is extracted from thin air using electric atmospheric water generators, and since water isn't wasted in flushing toilets or washing hands after going to the bathroom, less is needed to be carried onboard since it's used only for bathing two times a day, cooking, drinking. which is about 3 liters per hour
