SPAIN

Cemented on the vinous map by Rioja, modern Spain has much to offer; crisp, dry whites from Galicia made from the Albariño grape to rich robust red wines from Priorat.

There are a vast array of styles, grapes and wines available with new upcoming regions emerging. Many wineries are family-owned and have been in the same family for generations so the same passion, knowledge and experience seen in France can also be experienced in Spain.

Innovation is also at the forefront of Spain’s wine agenda both in the vineyard and in the wineries, all of which is focused towards improving overall wine quality, and whilst Spain offers great value it also offers stylish high-end wines that are worth investing in.
