Whilst some regions are warm and perfect for making juicy, fruity everyday drinking wines, other regions are growing classic grape varieties in top quality vineyards that produce world class wines.

Wineries range from tiny boutique/garage wineries to the large scale. Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay are well worth seeking out on the tasting table particularly from the cooler regions where elegance and balance are important components in defining the style of these wines.

The range on offer at the festival is a mini masterclass and it is well worth tasting through the wines to get to grips with what the U.S. has to offer in terms of style and quality.
