Hi maniacs!!! Another year has finally passed and another Obscene Extreme volume is here!!! Hooray!!! SILENCE SUCKS and we know that very well. We do strive to put together the best possible line-up during the whole year and when you check the Obscene Exteme 2016 poster you will for sure prove me right!!! Lots of exclusive shows you cannot see anywhere else and I am not speaking about the vibe accompanying our festival right from the first volume!!! Remembering how strong the atmosphere is I have no problem to work like a horse and do whatever possible to prepare the best possible line-up and to entertain myself as well of course. I am a fan in the end and have to fulfill my dreams!!! And this year there will be an array of them fulfilled!! What about SODOM for instance I reveled in when I was a teenager? I still adore them and I have been trying to bring them since many years and am very glad it has finally worked!!! Agent Orange forever!!! INSECT WARFARE I was having in my mind for very long and me and the boys had been speaking about that all the time. This year the right time has come… if these guys are not to play a LEGENDARY grindcore show, I do not know who else… Another interesting detail is how many special and unique shows OEF is going to offer this year… just consider that 4 bands will arrive from Japan this year!!! We could have only dreamt about that some years ago!!! Moreover, no ordinary bands at all. An absolute hardcore legend of DEATH SIDE will come to Europe for the first time ever!!! Absolutely hellishly crazy MELT BANANA will show up in the Czech Republic for the first time since 1999!!! PALM will also have their Czech debut and only SPEED!!NOISE!!HELL!! we could meet during their Czech tour last year… another exclusive concerts will be brought to us by brutal slam fellows of DEVOURMENT for example and you will also have the possibility to enjoy a properly intensive set of VENOMOUS CONCEPT who smashed totally everything with their latest album “Kick Me Silly”!!! Have you heard of MEMORIAM? Do names like Karl Willets, Frank Healey, Andy Whale and Scott Fairfax say anything to you? Exactly, guys from BOLT THROWER and BENEDICTION (both former and current) and their new band and a great portion of DEATH metal as it should be played!!! And these guys have chosen Obscene Extreme for their first performance!!! Isn’t that awesome? Of course we are also very much pleased by the comebacks. ROTTEN SOUND is just matter of the heart and a home band for us. Yet they have played at OEF in 2000 first time. Moreover, it was their first international gig ever for which they had been going by car from their home Finland for several days!!! The same applies for BRUJERIA with their antiTrump mood who are finally coming with a new recording and whose machette waving on a stage full of people in 2011 cannot be forgotten!!! We also hope a nice happening will be started again…those who were there at OEF 5 years ago know for sure!!!
No need to add there is a lot of new music to take your breath away!!! Give a chance also to the lesser-known bands as you will for sure find new favourites!!! I personally will follow e.g. WAR MASTER, SKULLHOG, WARWOUND, GUST, GEWOON FUCKING RAGGEN, SHACKLES, THE DOG and so on...what about SARCOTROFIA from distant Mozambique? I had to search in a map to find out where it is actually when the guys wrote me for the first time…It is incredible OEF attracts attention of the bands from all over the world. We do appreciate that much and each year we do all to prepare the most interesting program and introduce also bands from very unusual destinations!!! Do enjoy every band, go with the throttle full open the whole weekend as the next OEF will be here again in a year!!! The fact that OEF is attended by individuals with abnormal, sometimes even paranormal skills is obvious but still we need to test those brave men and women empirically. That’s why we bring, like every year, our famous Freak Olympic games to Obscene Extreme Festival. Those will test those who are brave (or stupid) enough to try their ability to survive our disciplines that imitate the hardest and most extreme environment that can be found. Such as moshpit on OEF after 12 beers can be. This year we bring you some evergreens such as: Team race in Yellow dumpster (1 man inside, 2 slaves pull or push it) this time in even more HC BLIND version (only the navigator inside can see). Competition for those with indestructible guts with eating of chilli peppers or inserting them into your cavities. Race in Drinking salty warm water (nothing better to cool you down after those few beers you’ve had). As a new discipline we want to find the biggest PAINKILLER who will survive all rounds of our eliminating contest. Since that show Selfie character just keep develop every time. Selfie try his best to be a happy clown, but it’s really hard for him, and he’s not always know how he should act & how to be funny, that’s put a lot of stress on his mind, and being unstable to begin with, that stress makes him to do some crazy stuff. Selfie goes to a journey of searching thru pain, penetration, excretion, stretching, lifting, turning & twisting of the human body. What will he find out? For the Obscene Extreme I make a special show of Selfie The Clown, it’s going to be extrem & brutal. What we can offer in this case is an absolute fresh portion of Czech grindcore! The band was formed in 2015 and for the time being they have been working hard on their debut album. However, this cannot change the fact the guys know how to play great concerts. Well, actually it is no wonder. You will find pretty experienced guys in KANDAR’s line-up. On the drums you can find a MINCING FURY’s drummer…. and the vocal expression has been taken charge of by Topi one of the most iconic bastards in the grindcore scene from PIGSTY. A mixture of blasting grindcore with both hardcore and death metal influences. For sure you want to see that at OEF’s stage!!!

Hailing from Portugal, these gentlemen will play at OEF for the first time! You won´t find more lovable and crazy creatures on this planet and their music is just made to swing your lazy asses to. There is no reason not to love them! SERRABULHO are the masters of Happy Grind - in fact, they gave that name to this sub-genre , and their live gigs are becoming more and more requested. It’s simply impossible to stay indifferent to this band live performances! Fun and great musicianship the remarkable trademark of this band.

When I hear the words, “OBSCENE EXTREME,” I immediately think fondly of one of the SICKEST, MOST AWESOME FESTIVALS that the world will EVER SEE! The OBSCENE EXTREME FESTIVAL was one of the most memorable “live concert” experiences I’ve ever played! The fans, the freaks, the extreme metal friends DO NOT STOP GOING CRAZY from the very first song to the last! I’ll never forget how insane the crowd was for us...thousands and thousands of metalheads...women dressed as nuns stagediving...naked men and women stagediving...nonstop blasphemy and energy for BROKEN HOPE and all of the bands on the festival lineup. That’s only a fragment of the MANY awesome memories I have from OEF 2015! If you haven’t been to OEF yet, then make sure you take the time to go to OEF - I promise, you’ll have a blast and you’ll never forget this amazing festival!!!
14.00 - 14.25 CANCEROUS WOMB (Scotland)
Blending a mixture of death metal and ferocious grindcore to bring their own unique twist of angry, gore soaked technical death grind, Great Britain’s CANCEROUS WOMB have a statement they’re looking to hammer home. Having shared stages worldwide with bands such as Napalm Death, Carcass, Origin, Defeated Sanity and other such luminaries, CW have developed a keen ear on creating catchy yet challenging songs that equally please fans of death metal, grindcore, punk and thrash. With 3 releases under their belt, CW continue going from strength to strength and are currently writing towards their next release due soon on Rising Nemesis Records. 14.35 - 15.00 SEMEN (Mexico)
When something comes from Mexico you can be sure of three things at least. Either it will be pretty hot or it will be dangerous or it will be a proper musical extreme. As for this squad it is for Satan’s sake the third option and we are very happy about that. The band has been tormenting the fans with their activity since 2004 and it belongs to the prime musical extreme Mexico can offer. It is a mix of death metal and gore grind. If you imagine a clash of DEVOURMENT, MORTICIAN and LAST DAYS OF HUMANITY you will approximately get what SEMEN produce. As SEMEN belong to the first wave of the Mexican gore scene they have except for several split recordings also two full-length CDs under their belt. They have performed at the Mexican version of OEF and the right time has come to arrive at our battlefield!!!
15.10 - 15.35 MATICRUST (Philippines)
Uhuhuuuu. Another from the array of exotic representatives at OEF! Filipino band called MATICRUST who moved to Dubai! Fucking blast! There can be found many influences mixed together in MATICRUST’s production reaching from anarcho punk and hardcore/ crust to brutal grind core. They have released a demo and contributed to several compilations and hopefully there are big plans in front of them. Their performance at OEF 2016 can be a big help to realise them. Support MATICRUST live!!!
15.45 - 16.10 SARCOTROFIA (Mozambique)
This will be a delicacy for all gore grind maniacs and those who like to discover new and uncharted places on the world’s underground scene. We think it will be enough to use a single word. Mozambique! Mozambique? Correct! This is the land where the raw and canal gore blast called SARCOTROFIA comes from. The band will celebrate its 10th anniversary this year so what a better present for this nice anniversary than a live show at Obscene Extreme Festival 2016!!!
16.20 - 16.45 NERVOCHAOS (Brazil)
Brazilian death metal. Just these three words mean nearly 99% quality guarantee. And NERVOCHAOS are living proof of this statement. Formed in 1996 and with several studio albums under their belt they have shared the stage with a numberless array of giants of the UG scene. The unique occasion for you to see this band live will be at Obscene Extreme Festival in 2016! It is a must see for the fans of such bands like SEPULTURA, VITAL REMAINS or DEICIDE!!!
16.55 - 17.25 PALM (Japan)
PALM! One of the heaviest metallic hardcore bands coming from Japan! If you take the best parts from CONVERGE / RINGWORM or INTEGRITY production and mix it with a typical Japanese raw punk sound like FRAMTID / NIGHTMARE you can’t be disappointed with PALM recordings. After their common tours with bands like NAILS, BLACK BREATH or BLACKLISTED, be ready for their Obscene Extreme show!!!
17.35 - 18.05 CRIMINAL (Chile)
This squad has been around since the beginning of the 90’s. Originally a young thrash metal pack from Chile that moved completely to Europe around the turn of the millennium to have it closer to you. Of course the roots are still to be heard in their production. This band has shared the stage with such icons like NAPALM DEATH, KREATOR, EXODUS etc. There is also an ex-member of EXTREME NOISE TERROR in the current line-up. The founding member of CRIMINAL can be found in the current line-up of LOCK-UP too. All in all an uncompromising and energetic thrash / death performed by CRIMINAL will make many heads bang at the upcoming volume of Obscene Extreme Festival!!!

Too many stories to tell them all. Also to many stories to just pick one. Obscene is 4 days of holiday, adrenaline , black outs, friends, fun, the coolest bands from all over the world! And so much more. We played the coolests shows at that stage, had a waterfall of people diving of that stage and had 10 people extra security to keep us save on that stage! The view i had from standing infront of so many cool people having a good time and looking over the battlefield is something i will never forget!

How does old school death metal sound when performed by a new generation? True mould of the old scene brought by SKELETAL REMAINS can properly jumble up your limbs! If you like ancient DEATH, you will whine like an old washing machine. No chance for a repair.
18.55 - 19.30 DEAD INFECTION (Poland)
For the fourth time and after long seven years (last time in 2009 in Svojšice) the Trutnov venue will be honoured to welcome a cult grind core band of DEAD INFECTION from Poland. Hard to find someone who would not know this pack. Sick and brutal gore/grind core torturing both your and our ear canals since more than quarter of a century. A band that is not far from being considered a legend or the foundation stone of gore/grind style. 26 years of existence is 26 years after all. No one can ever question that fact about this band.
19.40 - 20.25 VENOMOUS CONCEPT (Usa)
When you throw crust, thrash, hardcore, grind and death in a kettle, add chopped members of BRUTAL TRUTH, NAPALM DEATH, NUCLEAR ASSAULT, PRIMATE, CORRUPT MORAL ALTARS etc. you will get a very tasteful meal called VENOMOUS CONCEPT. These elderly dudes cannot deny their affection for punk and hardcore. The proof be their new album “Kick Me Silly” being just released these days (Jan 2016). Once you have listened to them your legs and arms would start twitching and you would begin searching internet to find where you could see this pack of grey wolves live. Yes, correctly! At Obscene Extreme Festival 2016!!!
20.35 - 21.20 INCANTATION (Usa)
INCANTATION cursed us at OEF back in 2010. With their latest album “Dirges of Elysium” however they are again a bit more macabre and it cannot be denied grey hair do them good. Their old school death metal rules and devours! John and his co-crushers are still highly regarded and maybe they play some new songs to us. Enjoy the creeps!!!
21.30 - 22.15 LOCK UP
All-star grind core band to get the visitors of Obscene Extreme Festival moshing again! Just to name both the ex and current bands of all the members of this squad would be enough for a serialised novel. And we assume it is not necessary either as this band itself slowly becomes a living grind legend. Autumn this year is under the banner of recording a new album for LOCK-UP and it should be released just in 2016!!! It means exactly after five years since their performance at OEF 2011!!! Let us hope to celebrate the new album with Lock-Up right on the Trutnov Battlefield at OEF 2016!!!

When I hear “Obscene Extreme” I think about devoted fans, a nice festival area and a great festival stage (with “stagediving-strip”). The OEF is a cool festival, organized by people who seem to love what they are doing. I will never forget our gig at the OEF. It was amazing when we came out on stage and saw the big crowd in the arena. And all the crazy stagedivers that came up on stage. I especially remember a young woman, who jumped up on stage to stagedive, who had only a pair of panties on! For brief second I was almost forgetting the lyrics to the song that we were playing when this happened. Metallic greetings from Sweden.

Portland metal punk assailants, TOXIC HOLOCAUST, were formed by Joel Grind in 1999 to pay homage to the raw days of metal and punk. Influenced by bands like Discharge, Venom, Slayer and G.B.H. - TOXIC HOLOCAUST create the perfect marriage of punk angst and metal aggression. Live at Obscene Extreme 2016!!!
23.30 - 00.30 BRUJERIA (Mexico)
And there will be cutting, decapitating and there will be quite a lot of bloodshed! Do believe us! It will be the second show of this iconic death / grind band of BRUJERIA at Obscene Extreme Festival. High-capacity reservoir of fastcore/grind bands. This is what the UK has become to Europe. Another squad that has deserved their time on the boards of Obscene Extreme Festival 2016 are FAMINE from Leeds, West Yorkshire. Harsh and primitive, fast grind/fastcore with slowing passages that are so typical for this style. A band that has toured almost the whole of Europe and shared the stage with the bands of a similar nature like THE AFTERNOON GENTLEMEN or CHIENS. Their debut album „Razzin“ is going to be put out in February. Fastcore madness to reach OEF 2016!!!

Relatively young band knowing precisely how to fill you chock-full with brutal slam due to previous rich player experience. You could already see their crazy drummer during the show of BEHEADED in 2014. The fact he stepped in for Brutal Dave on a very high level deserves credit and indicates his qualities. KORPSE have smashed many halls to pieces in the Netherlands. So, all eager partyers arrange for unbreakable boots as the guys will serve you a proper mosh zombie storm!!!

Their recordings are released mostly as splits with their crust / d-beat mates and if you like NASUM or ROTTEN SOUND… trust our tips! This will be a sensation!!!

I kind of cannot and do not want to dump the feeling that what comes from Australia will always be a high-quality musical massage. Let`s have a look together. I will start with the mighty BLOOD DUSTER, across to the technical PSYCROPTIC and finish somewhere near the blasting THE KILL or CAPTAIN CLEANOFF. This land really has something to offer and it is the time to offer another delicacy. The delicacy is named WRETCH. The band formed in 2011 cannot boast about an extra rich history but it has an appetite to produce a true grindcore. You can mainly find the influence of legends like NAPALM DEATH, NASUM, LOCK UP, BRUTAL TRUTH in their music. All these bands have left an indelible trace in the music of WRETCH but I would not speak about stealing at all. I am very curious about their show as it does sound really great from their recording. The gents will fly to us for the first time in their history and I do believe it will be worth it!!!
13.20 - 13.45 MINCING FURY (Czech republic)
Totally the last addition of the line-up for this year OEF 2016 will be a very pleasant enlivenment of traditionally full programme for many of you. Death / grind delivered by MINCING FURY AND GUTTURAL CLAMOUR OF QUEER DECAY is something like the well-known ass being placed on a potty. The styles must be honoured and respected! No exceptions.
13.55 - 14.20 DECAYING PURITY (Turkey)
Exoticness belongs to OEF of old. So come to see a proper butchers’ show from Istanbul performed by a brutal death foursome called DECAYING PURITY. Established in 2005 and after an irradiation by Florida death metal, US death-grind and EU brutal death metal the band materialized all the influences into a single disgusting complex represented by their debut album “Phases Of Dimensional Torture” born by the Spanish label Grotesque Records in 2008. Later on they spat “The Existence Of Infinite Agony “(2011) and “ Malignant Resurrection Of The Fallen Souls” (2014) under the flag of Sevared Records from the US. They will be carving on the boards of Obscene Extreme festival the first time. Let their riffs to blow you away!!!

The Obscene Extreme Festival always was in my mind as a place/ festival I had to visit because I know Curby for ages and the line-up is 100% killer for those underground lovers! It took me (and us as a Band : 7 Minutes Of Nausea) too long to attend to the Festival & stage. When we played Noise-core-night (2015) in front of 2000+ people it was pure energy, fun a satisfying. Something like come home to meet a bunch of friends&freaks! We had to drive 750 km to come there and you guess it was worth every single meter - a great road-trip, a brilliant show and an amazing well organized festival and place! I plan to come again as a guest, alone or with friends - time will tell. Thanks to Curby and Team for the great time we had. PS:We did meet a lot of long time friends, fans, bands and amazing people. If you are open mind in music/people this will be your place to stay!
14.30 - 14.55 SPEED!! NOISE!! HELL!! (Japan)
From the land of the rising sun, kamikaze fastcore squad with a strong punk vein called SPEED!! NOISE!! HELL!! will come rushing to stoke up a fire of the Trutnov Battlefield. Following last year’s successful Czechoslovak mini tour, this relatively young wild squad from Kochi, Japan concentrated around relentless Yoshio who has come through bands like Conga Fury or Disclose is going to return to Czech to raise duly bpm in your veins with the help of two uncompromising vocal gushers. They have been able to release several CDs in a relatively short time, this year’s split with MIR at Malárie records and they are supposed to arrive at OEF with a brand new vinyl to be put out at Malárie as well. Uarghhhhh there will be noise!!!

Bands of this style are more and more needed at Obscene Extreme Festival! There will never be enough of them! Absolutely exquisite mix of old power violence in the vein of CROSSED OUT / INFEST or NO COMMENT with classics in the vein of NAPALM DEATH or SIEGE. SHACKLΣS. Slow rolling passages turning into brutal grind discharges. Live this will be a total destruction! Do you know any band from the Antipodes not being worth it? Hard to find. This year at OEF 2016!!!
15.40 - 16.10 SPASM (Czech republic)
It is for the third time in the OEF`s history the kings of European porno/gore/grind of SPASM will hit our stage. It is totally pointless to introduce this pack of gigolos to you, the fans of extreme music. With their original approach and image SPASM by right belong to the top acts of this genre. They started their perverse expedition as long ago as 2000. Since then they have managed to desecrate the world with four full-length CDs and one 7“ split. SPASM will have no less then two pieces of news this year. The first one is a new drummer and the second their latest CD Pussy (De) Luxe keeping the band`s standard still very high. More words is just a total waste of time as for SPASM. Well, get ready to put on Borat mankini and see you in the moshpit :)

The reason is pretty clear. GRIDE is cult!!! All their Obscene Extreme live performances were always one of the best shows you can ever see at OEF!!!

WARWOUND. Remember this name. A band that created and was there at the beginnings of d-beat/UK82 punk scene together with DISCHARGE, CRASS or CONFLICT. Between 1981-83 they recorded and put out three iconic demos and then they chose to follow diverse paths. For instance they formed SACRILEGE or VARUKERS. Now after more than thirty years they feel like meeting again. They called in Rat from VARUKERS, a drummer from HELLKRUSHER and THE VILE and a bass player from FLUX OF PINK INDIANS. This veteran squad will show you at this year Obscene Extreme Festival that they are definitely not ready for the scrap heap!!!

We are having a smasher for you! MEMORIAM. You do not know what that is? Just have a look at the line-up with Karl Willetts (BOLT THROWER), Frank Healy (BENEDICTION, SACRILEGE), Andy Whale (ex BOLT THROWER) and Scott Fairfax (ex LIFE DENIED, BENEDICTION). This just cannot be a bad bandll! And what is the production of these gentlemen like? Well, it will not be emo apparently. The correct answer is OLD SCHOOL DEATH METAL. Having heard the first music samples it seems to be a premium above-average quality! Even a bigger sensation could be the fact that the show at Obscene Extreme Festival 2016 will be their absolutely first live performance! Well, this is called an honour! We hope you will take part in the first show of this all-star death metal band. This will be plain hell!!!

The first thing that comes to mind is the large amount of freaks and weird persons you come across at the festival, but also the friendly atmosphere and the no-nonsense-attitude of the crew. I’ve played there twice and the 2nd time (with Thanatos) was way better for me personally than the first time, the festival has been growing and is very well organised, without being over-organised, the change overs in between the bands are really short, but the OEF crew is very fast and knows how to deal with that. Short breaks are of course a good thing for the crowd. I’m still having nightmares from seeing a guy in the crowd with a big corncob stuck up his ass during our show!!!
19.20 - 20.00 DEATH SIDE (Japan)
No band on Earth can incarnate the status of “legendary Hardcore” better than the mighty DEATH SIDE from Tokyo. Founded in the mid 80’s, they are hands down one the most respected and representative names from the Japanese Hardcore/Punk dojo and they helped forging that unique, highly energetic “burning spirits” style that has influenced so many bands all around the globe and helped growing a solid fan base of die-hard maniacs. Raging vocals, drums running at breathless speed and that fantastic riffing that combines classic HC outbursts with blazing metallic solos sounding like flying demons slicing your throat! They have recently re-united, in memory of their legendary former guitarist Chelsea that passed away on August 17th 2007. This is their first ever European show with an incredible line-up featuring 3 original members (Ishiya, You and Mukai) plus Ori (Pile Driver, ex Mad Conflux, one of Chelsea’s first students) and Benkei (Crude, Mustang - currently considered one of the best guitar players in Japan’s HC scene) replacing the highly missed genius of Chelsea (RIP).. yes, 2 guitars needed to reproduce his unbeatable monster-skills!!! Precise riffs, intense cyclone. We are expecting nothing less!!! This band has ruled the world with their ingenious album “World Extermination” that brought an awesome portion of totally devastating music!!! Uargh! You just cannot miss that!!! When i hear the words “Obscene Extreme” there’s a picture of the most freaky extreme music festival in my mind. Its amazing independent music festival. I salute to everyone behind the festival working as professional organizers for the bands and the crowd. My band has performed two times at OEF, first in Jakarta and the second time in Grind Core homeland, Czech Rep. OEF was the first JASAD Euro experience. I can`t forget this great moment in my life. I felt like home, met many freaky friendly people and great bands and the important thing is the hospitality, OEF is my family ! Hopefully one day I’ll be back again to meet my family at OEF!

When I think of Obscene Extreme, the first thing that comes to mind is what a total fucking triumph it is. I’ve only played once, but it stood out in my mind as something I’ve wanted to do for years and I was not let down. It’s the biggest show I’ve ever played in my entire fucking musical career! It was the first time I’ve been nervous (nervous enough to fuck up a pretty time-honored classic, ha!) in years and it was completely worth it. My lasting memory of that show will be a dude, naked from the waist down, backflipping directly in front of me into the audience. Balls of pure fucking steel.
22.30 - 23.30 EXTREME NOISE TERROR (United Kingdom)
Thirty years after their split with Chaos UK, aptly named “EARSLAUGHTER”, EXTREME NOISE TERROR are back at Obscene Extreme and you can bet they will step on stage with only one aim in sight : play by the name of that legendary record! No band can better picture the spirit that created and shaped the extreme side of English hardcore music, spawning an enormous amount of inspired musicians and sub-genres. Call it crustcore, grindcore, it’s not important. They’re THE influence and, after delivering another incredibly solid release, they’re ready to destroy everything on their radar at the Battlefield. EXTREME NOISE TERROR are back, stronger than everything. Stronger than death.

Death metal legend from Poland. Guess who could that be? Moreover a band that has never performed at Obscene Extreme Festival. I see! Bingo? I assume the smart ones know by now. VADER!!! This band has been around without any major breaks since 1983! One of the truest old school death metal bands in the whole world. One of the few „bigger“ bands from the neighbouring countries that has not kind of found its way to the Trutnov Battlefield. Finally their time has come! Ladies and gentlemen – in 2016 VADER at Obscene Extreme Festival the first time!!!
00.55 - 01.25 THE VILE (United Kingdom)
Obscene Extreme Festival would not be Obscene Extreme Festival were there no space for a pure-blooded punk band. It has become almost a tradition the performing punk bands come mostly from the UK. This time you can pogo to another one from an array of bands of shouter Rat (ex DISCHARGE, VARUKERS). THE VILE dating their foundation back to 2009 recorded their first single in an almost all-star line-up featuring both the members and ex-members of such bands like HELLKRUSHER, BROKEN BONES, DISCHARGE or ANTI SYSTEM. Nothing to think about much this year. THE VILE at OEF 2016!!!

Hardcore as is right and proper! A delicacy in the form of Polish band THE DOG for all the fans of old good squads like NEGATIVE APPROACH, NEGATIVE FX or SS DECONTROL. There are ex-members of such bands like ASS TO MOUTH or WE ARE IDOLS in the line-up and the inspiration for their production is American hardcore of the 80`s including of course the influence of a newer wave of fastcore/power violence bands like CAPITALIST CASUALTIES or 9 SHOCKS TERROR. Well, they know how to play that fast hardcore in Holland. Following an array of bands that will for sure stay in your head you can add another name to this list. GEWOON FUCKING RAGGEN. We like new and unknown grindcore bands! And, what is more, if they have a witty name, nothing to think about! That is why be sure to welcome an emerging squad from France called TINA TURNER FRAISEUR in July. Formed in 2013 they have recorded two autonomous 7“s and played an array of live shows! Their plans for 2016 are more than clear – to play as much as possible and to release two splits with NEID and LIFE CRIME as well. TTF at OEF 2016!!!

New French grind core squad of BAIN DE SANG know how to pump it up pretty harsh. Not long after their foundation they recorded nine tracks that are ready for a debut album you can listen to even now at their band camp. Brutal mix of grind core with hardcore rhythmics brought by ex-members of such bands like BLOCKHEADS, COMITY or AENIMA. And guess what? Correct! You will also see them live at Obscene Extreme Festival 2016 of course!!!

Here there are several surprises at the last moment! The first one is grindcore/thrash blast of JAKUBYSKO from Slovakia. Quite a young band that is grinding it properly as it is the case speaking of Slovak squads. They have released a split LP with the mates of Paskuda and you can enjoy them live at this year Obscene Extreme Festival!!!
11.30 - 11.55 PISS VORTEX (Denmark)
Progressive grind core delivered by PISS VORTEX from Denmark will not give the fans of lunatic and brutal tones in particular any peace. If you love bands like PIG DESTROYER or CATTLE DECAPITATION mixed with a proper portion of instrumental mosh and soli, you cannot miss this quite new Danish band playing live at this year Obscene Extreme Festival 2016. This band will be in form for sure releasing a new recording called „Future Cancer“ in the course of April. Hopefully they will play it live for us also in Trutnov!!!

Heavy weight grind core as fuck from Denver in the US! This is 908! They have released just two singles so far but with the members of CATHETER or ENEMY REIGN in the line-up they have toured the US with their live show criss-cross. Do believe the fact this band will be for sure a very pleasant surprise for you! Perhaps only the US bands can play such a harsh grind core. So, be informed this year for the first time in Europe and straight at Obscene Extreme Festival 2016!!!
12.40 - 13.05 PRŮMYSLOVA SMRT (Czech republic)
One of the last local bands to perform at this year Obscene Extreme Festival 2016 are fastcore/grind maniacs from Jihlava/Brno PRŮMYSLOVÁ SMRT aka PRŮMYSLOVKA. In the underground circles a warmly welcome album titled „Invaze změn“ that has devastated many unprepared ears was released last year. The informed ones know this squad functioning since 2003 has become a stabile part of the local fastcore/grind scene and can be put on a level with their more known mates like e.g. GRIDE, LAHAR or LYCANTHROPHY!!!
13.15 - 13.40 TERRORDOME (Poland)
You will like this band! Following all the blasts and growls there is nothing better than a breather in a thrash vein delivered by TERRORDOME. Kick-ass old school thrash metal hardcore. Properly in an old manner, properly root and branch! They have managed more than enough during their more than ten year old history. Several albums, tour in Brazil and their latest plan is a tour in Japan this year! TERRORDOME possess the potential to get the whole Trutnov Battlefield to mosh like there is no tomorrow. Circle pit at Obscene Extreme 2016!!!
13.50 - 14.15 ATTACK OF RAGE (Slovakia)
The Slovak grind core scene has still a lot to offer. ATTACK OF RAGE is almost 100% one of the top bands. An interesting and fierce mix of brutal grind, swinging hard core passages and punk explosions. Having released two full-length albums and their latest recording being a split 10“ with CONTRASTIC it is more than clear that the time is ripe for this year Obscene Extreme Festival. Grind on!!!
14.25 - 14.50 BODYFARM (Netherland)
It did not work out well last year due to the sad events that happened in an immediate family circle of the band. It is logical BODYFARM will be given the chance again and right away in the next volume in 2016. Moreover, this young promising band has a brand new album filled with high-quality portion of brutal death metal under their belt. So let us repeat last year: If you want to see and hear the result of young blood being „infected“ by the old true influences , you must come to see the show of BODYFARM for sure. This relatively young Dutch squad grinds exquisite high-quality „old school death“. Having formed in 2009 they have been in full swing and nothing suggests they plan to slow down. In 2012 they released their debut album “Malevolence” followed by “The Coming Scourge” one year later. They have managed to support such giants like HYPOCRISY, ASPHYX, NILE, DEATH DTA and to play at several interesting festivals. The music where you can clearly tell the legacy of the legends like “DISMEMBER, GRAVE, UNLEASHED, BOLT THROWER” etc. will for sure please many of you. BODYFARM will be one of the bands to experience their debut on the OEF`s boards. I do believe you will be there under the stage to express your support. This squad definitely deserves that!!!

If you can imagine something different from a lovely little pet, you can definitely welcome GUINEAPIG to Obscene Extreme Festival 2016!!! Hailing from Italy, this trio will crush your heads with its powerful and solid goregrind!!! Downtuned guitars and mid tempos will get you ready to mosh hard in the Trutnov Battlefield!!!
15.35 - 16.00 SACRIFICIAL SLAUGHTER (Usa)
SACRIFICIAL SLAUGHTER from the US is in deed a piece of a properly executed death metal work. Fighting in the scene since 2002 though not very well-known in these parts. However, it does not matter much as the guys are absolutely great as for musical skills. You can primarily be looking forward to traditional execution of American death metal spiced with a bit of thrash metal, grind core or hardcore. This combination makes SACRIFICIAL SLAUGHTER a very pleasant musical experience. They will perform on the OEF boards for the first time so I believe they will strive to show you the best of them. I think their show will be fucking worth it. So you should be ready to be there in front of the stage or to stage-dive. You will have an ideal soundtrack for this activity.

UNHOLY GRAVE played at Obscene Extreme Asia in 2013 & 2014. So I knew how good atmosphere this Fest has. But Obscene Extreme Europe 2015 was more than my thought/imagination... In my eyes,”Team CURBY” worked almost perfect with having respect to others. They were friendly and very well organized. and I felt great DIY vibe here and there. It was amazing experience. I was so impressed...I really enjoyed the whole Festival week. My OEF story ? UG almost confirmed for OEF 2011 but it was scrapped at the last minute.... Frankly, there was little “conflict” between me and Curby....let’s say... I was angry. The title above is a very familiar expression, isn`t it? What about one of the iconic BOLT THROWER’s albums for example? Correct. As you would expect WAR MASTER from Houston will cut you up into pieces with their old school death metal inspired by classics in the vein of BOLT THROWER. This will be one of the dark horses of Obscene Extreme Festival 2016! However, I bet it must have been clear to you right from the start. When ex-members of such bands like INSECT WARFARE or INFERNAL DOMINION meet in a single band… it just cannot end up badly!!!
16.45 - 17.10 EXCREMENTORY GRINDFUCKERS (Germany)
When making music it is crucial that it is a entertainment for both the band and the fans. These lunatics from Germany stick to this perfectly. Their performance is a pure pleasure. Their mix of grind / death metal and all the musical styles you could ever think of is a unbelievable fun. Moreover, if you see them in their mad costumes, with insane expressions on their faces and poses on the stage, you will for sure not be able to hide your smile. All in all everybody who appeared on the Trutnov Battlefield in 2008 is with me now. It is really admirable that a band whose credo is „Fun is the main thing“ has managed to perform on the stages of the biggest festivals like Wacken Open Air, Summer Breeze Open Air. You could also see them at Brutal Assault. They have seven standard length recordings under their belt to create a perfect concert playlist full of hyperbole and humour. Come to enjoy that!!!
17.20 - 17.50 SKULLHOG (Netherland)
Many of you may have thought this band to play a totally different style. Incorect and unjustified! The wise ones have known for a long time SKULLHOG produce high-quality horror death / doom. Not only a split EP with Regurgitate but also a split with Coffins should guide you into the right way! And if you have happened to get to their so far latest studio recording which is the album „The Evil Dead“, everything will be absolutely clear! This Dutch pack do know how to play! And the plans for this year? A new album at Bones Brigade, a split EP with Violation Wound at RSR and …. And the evil at Obscene Extreme Festival 2016!
18.00 - 18.35 AVULSED (Spain)
The Spanish death metal scene has always had a lot to offer. There are also legends in the scene that have been shredding the strings and destroying membranes and vocal cords for more than 20 years. One of them being AVULSED. To be honest one of the most underappreciated bands ever we do not understand the reason why. Their recordings are killling and their live shows memorable. Just about this time (Sep/Oct 2015) their new EP called „Altar of Disembowelment“ is being released at Xtreem Records.
18.45 - 19.20 PUTRID PILE (Usa)
Fucking brutal death powered by catchy riffs, truly fast drums and at times almost absurdly harsh roar. That is what PUTRID PILE does represent. This one-man project will be one of the biggest surprises of OEF 2016 that will push your earplugs deep into your brain. PUTRID PILE to kick your ass!!!
19.30 - 20.10 GEHENNAH (Sweden)
The band that has been rolling their filthy alcohol-soaked heavy rock’n’roll since 1992 will hit the obscene stage and we are very sure that they will smash your brains and limbs during a massive moshpit. GEHENNAH will of course come to promote their great brand new album “Too Loud to Live, Too Drunk to Die” released by Metal Blade Records but we are sure you will hear also some of their classic songs, such as Metal Police or Hardrocker. So prepare yourself for full force liver attack. GEHENNAH is coming!!!
20.20 - 21.10 DEVOURMENT (Usa)
Nowadays, one of the well-known founders of ultra brutal style called SLAM with their stylishly rotten festering logo! Now the time is ripe for them finally to crush the OEF stage with their feet and to vibrate the equipments and our guts with their inexpressible vocals. Watch out for your kids, Babykiller is coming!!!
21.20 - 22.10 ROTTEN SOUND (Finland)
This is gonna be a sensation straight away! Yes, that is exactly the way it is. One of the biggest bands of the upcoming Obscene Extreme Festival 2016! Grind / hardcore windstorm of ROTTEN SOUND from Finland has blown over Trutnov Battlefield (and Czech territory too) several times. No wonder they will perform at OEF as it will be just about the time their new yet unnamed album should be released at Season Of Mist (Kylesa etc.). So this show will be „something special“ and be informed that their latest recordings, be it EP „Species At War“ or their latest full-length LP from 2011 (how time flies) „Cursed“ at Relapse Records, are musically a M.A.S.S.A.C.R.E.! ROTTEN SOUND at Obscene Extreme Festival 2016!!!

OEF means good times! To me it means a place where people who are into underground stuff can really enjoy themselves and feel at home. The festival is very well organized, but in a way that makes you not even think about those things. Energy just flows and people are happy! Last year I got the chance to bring my two daughters who were then 7 and 10 to the festival, and also on stage while MARTYRDÖD were playing. This was the first time they got to experience this type of event, and they totally loved it! After our set, Unholy Grave from Japan went on stage, and both my daughters begged me to let them stage dive. So we all went stage diving, and THAT has to be the best moment in my life! HEADLINER - only this word can be used for this band to play Obscene Extreme Festival 2016!!! Legendary thrash metal, the name, which should has been spread out across all music genres. We trully don’t know any one from metal, grind, death, hardcore, gore or punk scene, who at the mention of SODOM does not know what was going on. Established in 1981 - together with KREATOR, TANKARD and DESTRUCTION, they form so called „The Big Teutonic Four“. Their latest recording, which is the EP „Sacred Warpath“ should be foretaste of new album … meanwhile, you can also enjoy their live show at Obscene Extreme Festival 2016!!!
23.30 - 00.25 CATTLE DECAPITATION (Usa)
For this band we have to skip traditional musical introduction and sweet talk. CATTLE DECAPITATION is one of the well-known death metal/grind bands promoting vegetarianism, vegan style of life, and animal rights. Their brutal record covers are world-famous even outside music world. Their music is brutal and raw as well as their sick layout design. Shock treatment! Total death/grind massacre! Where else should they play other than at the Obscene Extreme Festival in Trutnov!!!
00.35 - 01.10 HELLBASTARD (United Kingdom)
When introducing the British crust/metal legend of HELLBASTARD you can easily use their own short description:“HELLBASTARD is often cited as being the band who created the “crust” wave of the 1980’s. They formed in late 1984/’85 then died a premature death in 1992. The band reformed in 2008 only and it seems they are now more popular than ever before“. Let us summarize like that. HELLBASTARD at OEF 2016 are a must for every crust fan. Full stop.

01.20 - 01.50 GUST (Sweden)
A swedish band that dexterously mixes crust rhythmics with hardcore verve without the result sounding somehow dully. The opposite is true. GUST can be put next to such bands like CURSED, OATHBREAKER, BAPTISTS or DEATH IN THE DIRT. Live this band will kick your ass. I guess no need to add they are one of the horses of Southern Lord’s stable… GUST at Obscene Extreme Festival 2016!!!
02.00 - 02.25 TIBOSITY (Espana)
Vile bastards called TIBOSITY from sunny Spain will bring a dose of hopping goregrind. The band has been active since 2005 and released two full-length CDs. Their debut was put out by the Czech label Bizzare Leprous Prod. and the latest recording by their local Xtreem Music. The new recording proved the qualities of this squad have gone rapidly up so that the right time has come to persuade us about this fact also by playing live. A mixture of heavy-weight riffs and fucking sick vocals is precisely what we can never get enough of on the OEF’s boards!!!
02.35 - 03.00 POTHEAD (Czech republic)
This is exactly what this pack of weedheads from the Czech capital hiding behind masks and called POTHEAD live up to. The boys do not mess about much and do it their way. They call their style a mix of grind and rap. We have to admit it is an interesting contrast but why not?! Of course, except for THC and alcohol the main ingredient in their music is mostly grindcore. If you revel in rhythms and vocal displays in the vein of CBT, ROMPEPROP or GUT, POTHEAD will not disappoint you for sure. Ideally, roll a spliff, enjoy your beer and tap in the rhythm of tap-tap grunts!!!
