Nowadays everyone have their own mobile phone, which they use to watch movies, play games, using social media, sent text, they attached to cell phone 24/7. But we all know too much use of cell phones can be dangerous for anyone especially for children.
Mobile phones release a type of radiation that is known as Radio FrequencyElectromagnetic Radiation, also known as microwave radiation, which is too dangerous.
“People who begin using cell phones before the age of 20 are at an even higher risk of developing brain cancer than people who begin using these wireless phones as adults.� said Odeta Stuikys Rose, a cancer specialist from New York.
The problem is children’s brain absorb twice as much radiation from these phones as adult brains.
Odeta Stuikys Rose mentions “mobile phone release radiation, which is comparable to the microwaves from oven. Electromagnetic field created by mobile phones can easily penetrate kid’s brain.”
To protect children’s from the health issues that could be connected to cell phone radiation Odeta Stuikys Rose shared some tips.
Use Airplane Mode Turn on airplane mode when giving your mobile phone to a child or when your mobile phone is near a pregnant lady. Airplane mode will help to prevent exposure of mobile phone radiation.
Decrease Mobile Phone Use In order to avoid an increase in mobile phone radiation tries to reduce use of mobile phone and wifi.
Speaker Phone To protect children’s from mobile phone radiation tells them not to use mobile phone expect emergency and if they use smartphone they should use the speaker phone or earphones.
Talk to Your Child Talk to your child and make them aware of the harmful effect of mobile phones on their health.
Set a Good Example There are many parents who spend a lot of time with their smartphones. In that case ask your child to reduce use of mobile phone is not enough, kids follow their parent’s footsteps. So be a good example for your kids by limiting your usage of the mobile phone.
